Botters suck. That is all.
WTF!?
I look further than the pixels showing up on my screen, most botters i know are far more kind and respectful people
I do agree that botting isnt doing anything good for this game, but i rather have a botter that acts normal than a legit that acts like an idiot to other players.
Although I am a hardcore legit.... I agree.
HOWEVER if there's a nice legit person and a nice bot I like the legit person better. Why? Because I know, especially in the case of hardcore legits, that the mere fact that they AREN'T unlegit in this game means they can be trusted. I have not yet been proved wrong when I trust a few mil with someone who I know for sure is a legit and has been so all the way to 60+. It shows dedication and trustworthiness, and also that they resist temptation.

Thanks AAzumak for the awesome sig!!!

They treat people with respect, does not act like an idiot and call everyone noob for no reason, does not kill opposing jobs that are not their degree, does not bot/cheat/scam/etc. Now here is why I would not respect you. I don't know how you got that sun weapon. Most of the time* a sun weapon is illegally obtained or if it was given by a friend, they were the ones that obtained it illegally.
That's it, simple, right? Now how many of you qualify for my respect? I thought so.
Because sun weapons are created solely through illegal acts? They are DROPPED legally, so it obviously starts somewhere. It shouldn't be hard to believe that "legits" have dropped sun.
As for who deserves your respect... apparently damn near nobody and perhaps not even yourself. Looking through your general post history I don't see much respect flowing from yourself, you flame occasionally, called somebody who wasn't fully informed a noob, and I doubt you have NEVER killed an opposing jobber in a degree that wasn't your own. If you thief, you have probably killed lower tiered traders, and if you are a hunter, you have probably protected your trade from lower tiered thieves. Perhaps you are a trader, just riding your ox from one town to another.
*Yawn*
*... and that's what allows me to say something like that. It's proof that I know you can get a sun without being a botter or gold buyer. I've learned it in school and I use it, it lets me avoid getting in trouble, but I guess it doesn't help when you don't know the meaning of a qualifier. Most of the time does not mean all the time.
As to who I've killed during jobbing, it's only been my degree or people strong enough to actually kill me if they are 1 degree lower. I avoid jobbing because I don't like dealing with level 80 thieves, which is also why I am a hunter not a trader, but that doesn't really concern you since you are not on my server.
I don't recall using the word noob to insult anyone on the forums, and if I did, it was justly used as per the definition of the word, towards someone with a high level character that knows very little about the game.
If we are talking about respect, my posts deserve it more than yours, considering your lack of contribution to a topic in yet another thread. Flamers don't deserve respect, people that provide a constructive argument, even if it is a criticism, might.

It's understandable that the other person wouldn't believe you are the high lvl sun player when you PM them from a low level char. Otherwise, I could run around Venice claiming to be some high level on my alt. I guess they could at least respond more respectfully than "lol noob".
I always try and show respect to everyone. I'm a respectful person. There are some people I have more respect for than others.
I even have some friends that bot. I still show them respect, and normally don't hassle them about their botting... although I make it known that I am against it and wish they would stop. And no, that does not mean I support bots... I don't. It all depends on if I become friends with them before I learn of their botting. If I am friends with someone, and find out later that they are into something I'm against, I won't just drop them like yesterday's trash.
Now scamming/hacking and the like, they get no respect from me. That is directly, purposefully hurting other people, when you're not supposed to do that.
Jobbing is a different story. If you're a thief, you're supposed to rob traders. If you're a hunter, you're supposed to kill thieves. It's part of the game. Yes, I will rob lower level traders, because I am a thief. Not every time, but if I do, I often times meet up with them later to pay for the loot. Thieving is a part of the game.

I don't think the brain capacity of the common player in 2007 would be able understand this concept. All levels are fair game. Don't put on the suit and you won't die right ?

Exactly. Now if you kill/res/kill/res the low lvl, that's another story. Kill the apposing job, don't harass them

Yes Silkroad has Respect... well _Respect_ I think it's written as. They're in my union.
True, it's just a game, but there are real people behind some (i.e., maybe 20%) of the characters. They deserve to be treated with respect unless they specifically give me a reason not to respect them. If they do, I will likely just avoid contact rather than to disrespect them.
