the good warlocks don't hug safe zone, they stand and fight in the in your face approach, the only time you should hug the wall is when a high lvl is killing you for no reason, you stun and cast, then you run back lol.
with cleric sub, they are pretty good pvpers

Warlock is one of best builds in PVP and party playing ... but it's bad for solo ...
Warlock is the best cleric sub mastery to have chance to use offering safely ..
The most dangerous enemy to warlock is holy word skill .. if you have holy word warlock loss 60% of his power ..

I disagree with the soloing part. i made a pure int warlock on venice a few days ago and i am level23 with masteries at level 20, my sub is cleric.
At low levels its pretty much boring sloloing on 1 mob at a time, but at level 20 the skills that you have with stun, slumber and vampire touch, i am soloing level23 mobs - level25 mobs and very fast i might add. party mobs ( normal ones ) my level is not a problem. For those who are wondering and like WTF ! , i am not standing still like a warrior and attacking, warlocks when soloing are " hit and run " play style.
Most people will keep saying don't go warlock they die to easily I haven't been killed by any mobs since i started killing 1-3 at a time which includes champions and mobs that are 2 levels higher than me.
The only prob you need to look out for is the ranged attacking mobs, like evil order archers, etc..
Also if one invests in the shield thrash skill of a warrior, its really a life saver for warlocks
When pvping use teleport to give yourself distance while you debuff and curse on warlock. If you plan out your skills right, you can reduce your chances of being attacked (If its a short range character) and while it's cursed go for the final wizard nuke. Earth fence is a really nice buff too btwMr.Ð wrote:Or Wizard/Warlock but i dont know a good build what dosnt eats alot SP im Wizzard now but still looking for a good Wiz/Lock built
Just level up the most important nukes for wizard and go all out for warlock if you wish to conserve sp.
Yes they need lots of sp but its worth the grinding.
It's fun chaining mobs and watching them die and i have gotten 4 sox drops already since i started warlock.I'm really enjoying this build and its very efficient killing machine when used properly
the only downside for me is
1) Durability of rod drops rapidly
2) having to run from giants at my level or a few levels lower
3) Eats Mp pots like crazy ( for my playing style )

I'm no expert but i'vw found when you have 2 DOTs with vampire kiss grinding is pretty fast and not a booring " Oh look a mob , Attack>mob is dead> go to next mob..."
When i say chain mobs it simply means you do not kill the mob then move to another one. This is my grinding play style: ( For those who do not like fast pace playing with having to THINK AHEAD this is not for you! )
I look for a area where i want to gring and try to get a small area where the mobs are about 3 -5 but not very close together ( very important for warlocks with only a few skills e.g level 20 under)my current skills are:
Blaze, Toxin, Magical Raze, Daze, Vampire kiss, Blood Flower, Shadow Armor... Main skills I use to grind.
Lets say I'm going to grind on evil wolf, I start by casting Blaze> Toxin > Magical Raze > Daze > next Evil Wolf> Blaze > Toxin> Magical Raze > Vampire Kiss... repeat .
Shadow armor use it ONLY when you are being ganged, simply put only use when there are 3 mobs on you or a champion and 2 mobs. Why? Using Shadow Armor damages ALL the mobs close to you therefore pulling a large aggro on you which will either leave you running like the wind or dead. .
For low levels locks who haven't Magical Raze and Shadow armor just grind on stuff 1-2 levels lower than you which will reduce the risk of dieing. I am currently level 24 and grinding on level 25 - 27 with no problem. When gringing on anything near or a bit higher than your lvl just be ready to change the routine if a champion spawns.
Sorry for the long " lecture"
I hope This helps

..
The other million warlock topics i have been thorough are guides to WARLOCK BUILDS or , asking for warlock builds, or saying use dot dot debuff leachlife, or arguing about warlock as hybrid or full int etc.. I haven't seen any giving in depth advice on how to use a warlock skills efficiently and have fun without a booring routine.
