Like I said there's poverty on either end of the spectrum. White people complain about losing their jobs because they aren't given the same treatment, regardless of their financial situation.

Affirmative action wasn't brought up out of the blue. There were reason for it one of these reason was the high unemployment rate of educated minorities. America has a past present and future built on discrimination and every single time something gets passed to protected the colored races the white ppl come back with the bull that its racist against white ppl.

At least white ppl can complain about losing jobs black ppl can't even get hired. Maybe you've never been to a homeless shelter or stood at the unemployment line but where i live most of the ppl in those lines are black or hispanic. Its not equal there are to many examples in the system that prove its not equal Affirmative action isn't about suing ppl for saying something thats not PC in the workplace its intended to let us at least get our foot in the f8ckin door, build up a resume, prove we're capable of doing the same job as anyone else. Do white ppl honestly even care about the word "cr*cker". I have a friend (the bf actually) who feels the way you do but only because ppl make a big deal when white ppl say the n-word. But he's naive and color-blind so everything he says is void. The first reaction i saw to a white person being called "cr*cker" was laughter, they literally laughed at the guy who said it and walked away. I honestly don't think it bothers the majority of white ppl to much i think most view it as the equivalent of calling SG or Key-J noobs, its baseless, stupid, and a sad attempt. I don't want this to get very heated, it's pretty late. But the way I look at it, affirmative action in its current state is causing more harm than it was intended to. People are freaking out because they think it's getting them out of a job, and others believe it's helping ease discrimination. My stance is that it's only helping that discrimination by keeping race separate. People still can't be 100% hired based on academic achievement or experience, race obviously still comes into play. And people still in extreme cases blame being laid off, or not hired at all on race. IMO getting rid of anything that defines race is a step in the right direction, since all people really want is equality.

It's just a huge sensitive issue that I think would be better solved by totally disregarding race in general.
