Pure STR GLavier Build. Help?

Post by Ultimeaciax »

I'm a pure str glavier. And I'm planning to have my bow to lvl 16 for the attack rating and maybe plvl. However, I'm not sure if the 20 attack rating increase would help me much. If i delevel my bow, Which build is best for a glavier atm?

Fire and Lightning are essential for this build. Have Ice if you want more defense.

from what i see, i picked 80hueksal, 70 light, 70 ice, 80 fire.

Reason for this is at 80 cap, most of the players are still all rounders, it will be differnt when 90 cap rises, where ppl have to side with certain type of mastries.
Hence, at this ''still all rounder'' period, you better be an all rounder in mastery too, for now.

a glaiver doesnt need too much lighnting mastery. Infact, i keep wondering if one shld add to parry ratio after lvl 70, as the huge amount of sp spent only adds 1 point? i dunno if its worth the effort of farming, as we have scrolls and euro buffs to make up for it.

Ofcourse , a glaiver should take note on the lvl of snow shield use.
try not to use more than 30% , its going to be self pwnage, when u face bows and int nukers. When they deal insane damage, for example, 10k damge supposedly, 3000 is going to be taken into your mp, and how much mp will you have? at most 11k with 400mp in head chest legs and full int equipments. And u still have to dish out your own skills, imbue+skills can easily go up to 5k mp per attk . And there, u are left with probably 3 to 4k mp, and what if the next round of attk comes? u are virtually left with no mp to fight, and no mp to tank, u can only run away.

Hence, it puts one into thinking if ice is important for glaivers. Its up to own choice again. ever since the introduction of euros, these problems are easier to solve.

Choose wisely.

Maybe, if you decided not to add ice or light next time when cap rises, u can add to pacheon for att rating? who knows =) Its always up to self preference, which makes this game challenging. Make your own path , and let others follow it =]

No, the four builds that I listed in the poll. Well, it's more like what masteries should I get for this build. Sorry.

Heh thank you for such an informative post. I surely know that I won't have my snow shield over 30%. I've experienced the "MP Drained" when pvping Int players. I have to feed my char with x-large mp pots at 90% or above.

I'm at lvl 77 now, farming, and still wondering what to add for my buffs. I might just go w/ the 80 glavie, 80 fire, 70 lightning, and 70 ice. Anyways, How much defense I will have if I boost my Ice up to 70?
