I guess it takes a certain type of person to have a problem with what Zing is doing. I say keep up the good fight! Joymax isn't doing anything about the bot problem, so at least we can put up a fight. The fight might not do a lot to hurt them, but at least it's something... and if we get some entertainment or satisfaction out of joining the fight, all the better.

1.) it's fine to "hate" on people that are cheating, or leaching exp off of cheaters (botters)

2.) it's different from spawning monster scrolls on low levels. With monster scrolls, the low levels are generally grinding where they belong, and some high level comes over to kill them.

In Zing's case, the low levels are collecting free exp (free as in they're not working for it) from a botter (who is CHEATING). So the low levels are indirectly cheating as well. I guess Joymax should ban us if we start murdering botters as well?

3.) I guess thieves aren't welcome in the community either then? After all, when a thief robs a trade, the trader often isn't having fun. Hunters aren't welcome when they kill thieves?

4.) I did, and I disagree.

jeez, plvling was added to help legits, it's basically a legal version of botting..and we sit here bashing it? this community will NEVER be satisfied.

I swear, joymax could get rid of bots, and we'd still find something to complain about <.< in fact, if bots didn't exist, 'legit' plvlers would be looked at as the new bots. what I mean by that is, they'd be looked down upon, shamed, and people would come on forums and make topics about how much they ruin the game (oh wait, this has already been done a few times, huh?)

It was intended to assist the party system that Europe is not to be twisted into a botters new friend. Take a party of 8 go out and share XP from mobs and kill only regular mobs = not much point your better off alone but add in party mobs champs/giants - much harder to kill (around your level) but greater rewards for the party. No where in that was the explicit indication that it was created for you to take your 1x level guildmate out to blood ongs and level them up while they sit on a horse. Now it has become what it is - it is what it is now. So share partying is different than powerleveling which is greatly different than powerbotting.

But it is what it is. It is the new botting I suppose and with it instead of the botter that caps his 1 or 2 characters can now drag along 4 more of his own and have a slew of capped botted characters. Pretty pathetic eh?

I've made that point several times before, and I'm glad at least someone else is saying it. It's the Guardian System, not the Powerleveling System.

I don't hate people being power leveled. I don't hate anyone at all. I don't think it's fair for them to be power leveled, but it's part of the game.

I think it's unfair, and wrong for low levels to get power leveled specifically by a bot, and I fully support anyone who wants to kill those low levels because the low levels are botting in that case.

Don't like it, don't play. It's part of the game. To me, powerbotting is the same as botting. Both are prime targets to kill.

I gave the hunter/trader/thief thing to prove a point. You said Zing (I think that's who you were referring to) is a "hater" and ruining other people's fun with his fun... so therefore you say he's not welcome in the community.
