Hybrid S/S vs Euro....

I quit the game out of all the frustration of bots always having the server crowded all day but now I'm back and i want to try a new build

The only question i have is...well...can a Hybrid S/S hold their own vs ANY Euro characters?

If not then which ones can't they fight back and why?

I enjoy being able to take on a majority of different classes, and I've found that diversity is the answer to that, but can a Hybrid S/S pull this off?

I don't think theres a definite answer (as usual), though personally, I think it can't own a wizard same level, or rogue, just because of their crazy damage (I guess it depends who strikes first)

They do pretty well...but again, fully farmed euros with the right subclass make light work out of any fully farmed chinese in fair PvP. In 1vs many though it's different since most euros can't stand up to getting beat up by 3-4 people without a cleric behind them.

i dont think any chinese build can defeat some of the euro builds, but i beleave they can defeat bards/clerics/ and warlocks, others i think its more of a manner of who gets first hit

im hybrid int spear and i can easily beat a wizard my lvl, 1 nuke lol -.- but if he gets a few hits on me from behind i die >.>

yeh, it's all about who hits first really,

exploit the fact that they got pot delay. and don't get caught offguard, cause, then ur a sitting duck :p

Unlike china euro takes a bit more skill to play. With its pot delay and its total lack of defense its a hit and run game with euro. Anyone with a shield can block that clerics offering or that rogues dagger desperate. Remember china can drink pots euro cannot, chains are pretty effect and do not take much time to cast. Lion shout is a clerics worse enemy. ><

Well ,my european character is warlock+wiz and i can say its good vs chinese characters and not only in 1vs1.
Its all up to your tactic ,for example im staying with warlock rod+shield most of the time.When someone attacks me(i can stand a nuke) im using the stun skill ,then i cast Bloody trap(the laughing skull) and reduce the defence ,reduce the deffence/dmg of my enemy so i can stand the next attacks and attack him with Death flower ,if he is still alive or block the hit i'd teleport away ,change my weapon to staff and nuke him without Life Turnover

A wizard on 80lv with a good set can always stand a nuke of a pure int 80lv if the wiz is not using life turnover ,but if so then the wiz cant one hit a chinese nuker ,but as i said its all up to the gameplay(i reduce the defence and increase the mag effect on the enemy before i attack him).

Wizard without a +5 set is like a pure int nuker with npc gear.
Please try to pvp a 80lv european character before you talk about them being weak in pvp

I never said the european classes are weak silly. I also do not have to be lvl 80 to realize what a character can do and cannot do. There are not many 7x successfull europeans on Aege, most don't make it past 64 for some reason I do not know of.

So a wizard, warlock combination? Do you have any masteries into cleric? I personally chose cleric/warlock because I can't imagine playing without my trusty shield, though I wish I had a br passive like china's blade weapon tree does. When 90 cap comes out and the euro SoX is unlocked that will be a sight to see for sure.
