About Closed Beta Test

Q: Will characters of Alpha test be initialized after Close Beta Service?

A: All characters will be kept from Close Beta Service FOREVER.

Q: Do I have to join again to enjoy Close Beta Service?
A: The person who is user of Alpha Test Service doesn't need to join again.

Q: Do I have to download and install client again to enjoy Close Beta Service?
A: When you connect to server, Patch will be started automatically.
We will provide you manual patch and full client also for slow Network speed.

Q; When Close Beta Service will start?
A: Korea: 10:00 AM of Nov. 9th
New York: 08:00 PM of Nov. 8th
London: 01:00 AM of Nov. 9th
Singapore: 09:00 AM of Nov. 9th

Q: What will be updated in Close Beta Service?
A: Awkward English name of Skill, Item, Monster and etc. will be modified. And 40 new Quests will be updated.
Additional Game information will be posted on Homepage.

Q: Is Silkroad Online a pay Game?
A: Silkroad Online is FREE game FOREVER.

But Here's a little loop hole.

They can ban ips by countries or regions. So if it gets licensed in your area, your ip will be banned and you won't be able to log in unless you move far away. But your account will "never be deleted" and it will "always be free" (this version).. not the "licensed version"

I heard the game connects through the internet explorer server so you'd only need to give yourself a proxy IP from a country that's allowed to play it.

What's the not free licensed version mean?

Meh I had my lvl 20 pants to sell too, I bought them for 400k and was gonna sell them for 500k, I did have 800K until I had to pay Blain 600k for that bow lol

I think it's best to remain open minded about it all, for all we know there could be a last minute problem or decision and everything goes.

I'll probably be making a new character anyway though I wanna get a lot of sp points so I can have a much stronger character to play with.

I think it depends on the time frame.

Well as far as i know, the SOS stuff was to be deleted over the last remaining days of the xmas event, as there were many hackers giving themselves and friends many of the SOS items.

The Accounts however, are a different issue. What they say and do may end up being two seperate things.

I only ever found a lvl 5 sos sword when i was lvl 23 and thats it.

I didnt find it too funny personally but everyone got a good laugh for some reason. Whats the format for one to drop or is it just a really low ratio and you gotta be lucky?

My character is level 33 now and i never found a single SOS... makes me really mad :banghead:

Blain - The admins were in the process of deleting them. Obviously you're not the type to actually READ the notices that are posted on the official website or you'd KNOW already that it was the case that ppl had hacked the game and thats why so many had all of a sudden found a hell of a lot of SOS stuff.... think before you reply next time

ahhh Raven you are wrong..and somewhat right..

let me be more specific.. a few hackers forced unique monsters to drop massive drops.. hence massive sos's.. also a few hackers can spawn uniq monsters anytime they want...
a few.. i would say exactly 4...

and then there are hacked items.. items stolen from item mall before it was released..

in any case.. many sos's are legit.. after that last patch..
before then.. they had +9+'s..which shouldn't exist.

all those were removed because it would cause conflict for those who actually are willing to pay for item mall..

Yes, but the other glitche was the sudden breakout in sos items... never before had anyone seen them, and then all of a sudden they're everywhere. An admin i spoke to said that there were alot of sos items that shouldnt exist, namely the low levels (under level 20).

i know, i was on the server the day that they were hacking, all i saw was tiger girl and all the other uniques appearing over and over again. i thought it was a glich.

i don't see the point in hacking, then someone directed me to the site of those that did it, i read a couple of post and y they did it and i left. they said they did it so admins would fix it. i was like how does that help, y not send a email.
