Rogue w/ warlock sub is AMAZING

The point of rogue is to hide and attack ....
Not standing there , casting debuffs (the enemy see you)
He starts attacking you , stun / kd / freeze / whatever and kills you.

You are way too bad tank to waste some seconds on debuffing.
Rogue's power is good enough without debuffing foe ....

It's just stupid and retard and waste of sp to choose warlock as sub
Take cleric or bard ....

debuffs can really help you in a tight spot so can stun...think about it...a Warrior with Iron skin your hardly hitting him at and he can just beat the crap out of you...stun debuff, debuff, debuff take him down....or say your jobbing and its a bunch of noobs with a high lvl guarding them, stun debuff debuff taken him down....

The 3 best subclasses for a Rogue are Cleric, Bard, and Warlock and they all have their uses it depends on your playing style...I love it when ppl talk "in theory" from a biased opinion...

If someone gets those statues buffs from a cleric they can easily be immune to all the statues effects and lets not forget, if someone rly wanted to beat you, they can go ahead and buy the pills for those statues effects

im a warlock and I can tell u leech skills and debuffs own. First off leech skills hav saved me many times and cause absolute damage which ignores armor. Debuffs make it so much easier to kill things cause they can increase phy and mag attack power, lower phy and mag defence, for cleric wheel bind lowers healing power, and fog sight for rouges basicly hampstrings there range and sleep and stun are a no brainer. All thing considered Im not so sure if warlock would be best for rouge I would say go cleric if ur dagger rouge or bard if ur crossbow. But I do think that it would work well for warrior especially s/s warrior.

hm thing about the fog sight is that on rogues it isnt all that useful
rogue's xbow is already longer range than fog sight so you have to run up to person to be able to cast it

anyways, i tried out warlock (just to lv 16) on my 58 xbow/dagger and i foudn out warlock's stun and sleep offers you a way to win even without debuffing... daggers can already kill people same lvl so it isnt a problem, but you need first hit so just stunning the other person for 1st strike offers a lot to rogues even if it is just 1 skill from warlock

o and lv 16 (stun lv 1) works on any lvl or at least i've been able to stun people up to 80 (chance might be a bit less but well, can't expect a lv 16 skill to work well on someone that high anyways)

clerics mag damage does matter

you see skills with "XX healing and mag damage 300% reflect"

that means it heals XX +(3)(magical damage)

so if it heals 500 hp and mag damage is 1000 it then heals 3500 hp, so magical dmage does matter to clerics

A rogue/warlock or a warrior/warlock?

I am still doubting the benefits and the cons of both builds, ofcourse you pick light armour of robes, so that don't be that big of a deal, warrior is all about defence, shield+ironskin+manaskin is a pain in the ass for everybody, and if you debuff on top of that, you are defended well and you can hit hard and you get to keep your shield. As for rogue/warlock, you just beat the crap out of your opponent, slashing down his HP in no-time while he hasn't even touched you.
Rogues also have scud, so if you need to GTF away, you just cast scud and run. If you need some breating time to pot, just KD him, KD or stun, a very high chance that he can't attack you.

I just know rogue/warrior isn't gonna work out for me, so please help me decide what is better

I also am on a server where nobody is a warlock, or has a warlock as sub, so this would be unique on my server.

Rogue warlock is a ridiculous idea.

If you use the debuffs - you wont be able to kill anyone when using Desperate dagger or wtever. The idea of a rogue isnt to stand and debuff then kill... they kill quickly without the person knowing.

Honestly... Rogue/Warlock will fail without doubt at later levels.

I don´t thik so, it will be the most effective 1vs1 build ever, coz the opponent can hardly do anything without Holyword/HolySpell or those expensive pills.

dude... healing power isnt fixed... pure str heal less than pure int clerics

its a special amount of healing + 300% (e.g) magical attack power reflect

magical attack power is attack + reinforce* int ... so a pure str got less magical attack power and less heal overall



well imo a rogue warlock isnt really... a rogue... i think a rogue should always be rogue/bard... fast-stealth killer

but in pvp i got to admit, rogue warlock owns all, unbelievable

It may be considerably less but it isn't worthless. I'm 2handed/cleric lvl 87 with cleric maxed and its enough to keep a 8 man party alive without running out of mana.

Heck when i was 80 i could do it also. Its not useless.
