then why not lvl fast to lvl 64+ (nt really fast tho), grab all basic grind skills only in lvling and farm later

I would suggest lvling to 16, and have a 9 gap.
Use bow, with the lvl 5-6 bow skills + imbue. Farm at bandits.
But if you have a high lvl friend, ask him to p0werfarm you at ongs ^^

Im sorry im a noob but id liek to know what do you mean by gaps and such?

gaps are the difference in lvls between ur max mastery lvl and ur current character lvl, for example, a 16 character with his or her highest mastery lvl at lvl 7 will be considered as having a 9 lvl gap. it all depends on the highest mastery lvl, doesnt matter if other masteries are lower.

as you increase ur gap, u will recieve less exp points and more skill exp points, thats why ppl use 7-9 gaps to farm sp. at 0 gap u get max exp points and min skill exp points, and im not sure whats max skill exp.. dunno if its 9 or not xD havnt heard of 10 gap..

To answer your first question,

Yes, this game is all kill kill kill, and as your level increases, you'll need to kill more and more and more mobs to level. There are several ways you can keep from going insane while still having fun in this game:

1: If you have a mental disorder, like being diagnosed with an excessive compulsive disorder, then SRO is the game for you.

2: For the rest of us, a xp ticket is about all I can handle at level 80, thats 3 hours of non stop grinding. If I did any more, I'd lose my mind and all sense of right and wrong, eventually leading to a horrible massacre of patatos.

3: Forfeit all signs of "life" and live by your computer, requires you have a toilet for a computer chair and a mini fridge within arms reach.

and finally, the one that you will most likely choose, as 80% of the game has already:

4: Buy a bot, come back every few hours or just leave it on 24/7 until your satisfied with your cheated account, then learn how to pvp at level 80 (douchebags).



I get .01 per 10 mobs I kill on a 9 gap, and 2 sp per kill. I need to farm 150k sp at level 80.

3 hrs out of ur day isnt much of your life lost lol bluey ur always so depressing. Dunno what hes whining about he just borrows his friends sun sword. The rest of us are using avg weapons

I am lvl 9 and have 475 SP with 35% exp. I am getting sick of lvling slow and doing the same thing over and over again. Problem is, I need the 9 gap to get everything that I need. Is there a *fun* alternative to this, or is the only way kill,kill,kill,kill?

One more question. I heard debates about cold skills. Are these really worth getting for PvP?

What i did to get my chinese char to lvl 70 (that was the gap before i started euro char), was the 10 lvl technique, ie I did not use any sp till lvl 10, then rose all my materies and skill to lvl 10, then started agairn to lvl 20, and once i get there rose the masteries and skill to 20, and started again, and so on. That wasn't as hard as having a 9 gap for months, and i still could kill mobs fair well, and never need to sp farm for months. It helped me a lot. But as always, it's up to you. Just don't grind the whole time, do some jobs, pvp, chat, etc. Just relax and star grinding again.
