First time I shot a gun I didn't hold it properly. The recoil shot the gun backwards, and I didn't notice it at first, but after shooting for an hour or so I had a huge bruise on my arm.

Guns are loud. You really can't tell what they sound like because you're too busy going "SHIT that was loud."

And they don't hurt you unless you hold them wrong. Recoil is fun in its own weird way if you have a high-caliber semi-auto or full-auto weapon. It's something worth experiencing.

I also want to own an STG 44 before I die. Maybe even an MG42 machinegun.
