How is critical strike calculated/Does it affect force dmg?

how does critical strike work? the higher the number the higher the chance to have a critical strike right? also does it increase the damage of force attacks or just physical or total combied dmg? if im an all intel character with antidevil missile imbued with fire does the fire dmg increase too if i crit or is it just (Physical dmg * Crit) + (fire dmg)?

Yes, higher the number, the more you crit. And no, it does not effect that magical portion.
