Guaranteed +4 -> +5

So after 7 failed attempts at +4 -> +5 with lucky powder and only one elixir left and no lucky powder, I'm like w/e and just use the elixir. Success! Okay JoyMax, haha at your little joke.

A few hours later I fail 3 times +4 -> +5 with lucky powder so I think "hell, it worked last time" and give it a go without lucky and success!

A few hours after that, on yet another item, I fail 3 times +4 -> +5 and I'm thinking the whole time "there's no way" but I give it a go and yep, you guessed it: success with no lucky.

So out of 16 attempts to +5, I was 0 for 13 with lucky powder and 3 for 3 without. Bug or incredible coincidence? You decide.

Well mehby all the fails helpd with giving more chance to succeed lol.

But thats happened to me before too, I accidentally made some gloves +4 like that lol.

nope, joy max wants you to spend your gold on lucky powders. i believe that they lower the % that it will be a success. its the truth, deal with it and don't argue

Logic would dictate that if you wanted to increase your chance of a successful enchantment, you would use luck stones, lucky powder, and a premium ticket. Do everything you can to increase your in-game probability. The fact that you had 3 consecutive successes without lucky powder to get +5 is just a statistical anomaly :/ (summary: you got lucky)

well not 2 burst ur guys bubble but i made a +5 like that 2 certain tricks must exist like that the weapon has hidden lucky which may cancel the lucky with powder but idk

if you use alot of elixirs you will hit what you want

From now on, if I fail +4 -> +5 with lucky two or three times in a row, my next attempt will be without lucky. Still no trick for +6 -> +7, however

at least this game is better than rakion.u barely find a room in rakion even if u find 1 there are thousands of hackers.

And yeah, like cin said the point of the story wasn't "look at me, I can +5 three items." It was about either 1) a hugely improbable experience or 2) some weird glitch or algorithm bug. As I mentioned in the first post, "you decide." The consensus is "luck" which is probably where I fall as well, but still...you gotta admit...it's kind of weird.

And is getting an item to +5 really that big a deal? If I knew that was some kind of great accomplishment that warranted more than just a "woot" in guild chat (at most) I would have been posting them on SRF for ages. :roll:

So I need a movie, as X20A pointed out, and I'm damned if I'm gonna make movies of my alchemy. You mistake me for a non-lazy person. Are the other members of SRF really screaming for alchemy movies because I have a few stacks of material I'll be breaking down and we can all watch that for an hour.

The funny thing is, you're not even questioning the highly improbable story about me failing thirteen times with lucky and not failing three times without. You're actually questioning whether I can +5 three items. If I'm going to make up a story, I hope it will be a bit more compelling than the failure rate of lucky powder on SRO. And if you've spent any time doing alchemy, you know that +5 isn't really that big a deal.

lol, i +5'd my sos 7d bow without a powder too by mistake!!

i had lucky stone and astral stone in my inventory. i intended to add these stones first but i accidentally added the elixir instead. i was hurrying things and clicked the button before realizing what i did.
