How well would this work? eg warrior 2h sword and then have all the xbow skills in rogue? stealth and longshot my target then sprint assault it, xbow would be fun to grind with too, any ideas? or any other suggestions in regard to sub?

Well when you switch to sword, crossbow extreme is canceled and you're only left with half your health.

Sprint Assault loses it's value if you take the time to switch weapons...although without lag it would take insignificant amount of time.

But if you consider the skills of warriors, they are much better subclasses than bards. Not having noise, but being able to switch and put skins up while you are getting ganked will work well in PvE, and in PvP, using potions it's even more effective for sneak attacks. Stealth > attack > switch >skin, then run. Skins are pretty fast cast and from surprise attacks it will give you the time you need to use it. Running away with an extra 1k p.def or 1.5k m def, or both beats having noise in PvP...

So what do you recommend as a subclass, bard or cleric? both have perks but i'm sliding toward bard because moving with heavy armor is depressing, but i have yet to find anything useful before 40 with cleric

but bard is the best build for a rogue.

cleric is not good for a rogue cuz why you want to heal your self when the others will still kill you when you cant run faster than them...

and with 80% speed you can out run most players

actually cleric owns for rogue after you get recovery division, tho cleric is mainly for soloing
