System Restore Help

i want to download windows xp system restore program from the internet ( i know its possible ) but i cant find the site. i cant restore my pc becuz the earliest i can restore it to is 3 days ago, and i want it like how it was the first day i got it. i lost my system restore cd. or i justt want to download windows xp home edition. im tired of sro freezing and shit. ty

By system restore are you talking about a proprietary vendor's "restore" CD? You can sometimes order replacements so you might look into that. If you really want your computer to be like how it was when you first got it, you might as well just get a XP Home disc and reinstall. XP's system restore doesn't truly bring you back to where you were. Instead it leaves you in a sort of limbo.

Yeah, like Cruor said.. if you want the comp to be the way it was the day you got it, just get the OS disc and reformat

nice, can i use a system restore cd for home edition on media center edition? or will it mess up my pc?
