I just wanted to write to inform you that while I was bored and snooping around with fake moderator rights, I noticed that there is a seperate forum section only visible to moderators and administrators of the board. That's not unusual at all, in fact it's a good idea to have one of those to store rule violation posts and talk about stuff privately. And they use it for that but I did find one particular post that I thought you all might find interesting. In fact, it's just interesting enough to make me steal all your e-mails from their pathetically insecure database and let you all know about it. Oh and the original post is by SuicideGrl. Here's the post body with a couple boring spots edited out:
Welcome to the forum new moderators. This is the area where we store anything we don't want the public to see such as posts that we need to keep copies for future reference or major rule violations. Also note the other sticky post with the list of banned IPs and what accounts they belonged to. If you ban someone, add their post-from IP to that list. Long story short, we use that to compare to suspected newly created accounts from close IP ranges.

And if someone is really pissing you off in game or you just don't like them and want to mess with their account and they have an account here, just send an admin a PM with the account name. We can look at the sent items folder for the entire server and see every e-mail that has ever gone out. Obviously when people sign up they get an e-mail saying their account and password in plain text so we just look at that and tada, it's their password. And most of the time people are dumb enough to only use one password for everything so it's the same as their in game password. So just log in to their account and do whatever you want.
and then more boring blah blah blah crap and mods replying to the post with whose accounts they'd love to steal and who they really hate.
Just thought you guys would want to know how little respect they have for any members of the forum and how they're willing to steal anyone's in game account. If your password for the forum is the same as your in game one, change your in game one immediately or it's at serious risk! If anyone knows your main SRO account name, they could go right now and log in and take all your stuff. Oh and feel free to tell those asshole moderators and admins what you think of them. Oh and tell them to fix their pathetic forum security so people like me can't just walk in and do whatever they want. I couldn't quite get every single member's e-mail address out of the database though so please pass this message along to anyone else you know that plays and has an SRF account. Other than that, have a nice day!"
