It took off songs from my iPod, and won't put them back on, but they are in my library checked, and I have space on my iPod.
any clue whats going on?

I plug it in every day and it started doing this a couple of days ago

something like that happened to mine
first make sure you have all your music files somewhere on your computer. Then delete all the music on your ipod and delete iTunes from your PC
redo everything, including reinstalling iTunes, etc, then connect your fresh empty ipod to the PC and start transferring music to your library, which will in turn transfer music to your iPod
