Will increasing the weapon skills of either spear or sword increase damage for a pure int?
Currently, I'm using ghost spear and I'm wondering if upping that skill would give me much more dmg.

No. Those % damage boosts are only for physical.
edit: just reread. I assumed you meant for nukes. If you're SP farming I would definitely put points into ghost spear, the range goes up with each book. Might be something you want to look at when SP farming at level 70.

actually you will do more damage, but the difference will be so miniscule you will need an electron microscope to see it >.>
you will do more damage because of the damage multiplier, but if it is, say, 300%, it will be as long as 3 reg hits, and do about the same damage for a pure int.
