Thanks, but I don't think I would like the cut in pay. Mind you, I would not mind volunteering as a part-time assistant GM or the like.

For me personally, it is not the "cheater" who bots that is the problem, it is the hoard of gold bots that are choking the system and causing serious balance problems in the game. If you chose to buy an account that is already lvl 80 or use a bot to get you there in a few weeks, that is really on your conscience and I suspect your interest is likley to wane rather fast, having taken such a drastic short cut to the top. Things not earned are generally despised, and it will not be long before this game is boring to you and you will be trying to cheat on another game.
As a female friend of mine likes to say, "once a cheater, always a cheater". Of course, she is speaking about Men (not Me, BTW) but I think it is valid in all aspects of life. If you are always looking for the short cuts and willing to cheat to achieve your goals, then what does that really say about your character as a person?
The only thing to justify (and it is weak at best) giving away an account over botting, is that the SRO Terms of Service agreement does give tacit approval for account sharing so long as YOU take responsibility for the results. If this means your big brother decides he wants to start new characters and gives you his old ones, then no problem, so long as your big brother does not go balistic when he sees you selling His hard earned Degree 8 SOS armour for 50k.
SRO simply states that you are responsible for everything that happens to your account, so if it is hacked, it is your fault, plain and simple. If you try to get your armour back by saying "someone, (not my idiot brother) took all my SOS armour and sold it," they are simply going to say, "too bad." Your account is your responsibility, even if you were hacked or duped or just stupid.
Where the line is drawn, however, is in the SALE of an account. This is a breach of Civil Law, as the contents of your account are the Intellectual Property of JOYMAX, and as such cannot legally be sold except with their consent. And I think it will be pretty hard to get them to consent to you making money from their system and software.
Finally, when an account is shared/traded, it is still only one account. It does not put the additional load on the server that a gold bot does. The gold bots however get to 80th lvl and simply grind constantly generating as much gold as they can, selling everything they can to the NPCs. This stresses the game, reducing the amount of interesting stuff that is availaible in the stalls and practically choking out anyone new who might like to come to the community and add to it.
In one of the forums I read about a sniffer program that looked at the 3000 or so players that were signed on, and the program found that around 80% of them were behaving in a predictable fashion (not chaotic) and were likely bots (or extremely talented and consistent humans). From my own experience, I would say that of that 80%, as much as 90% of them are gold bots, leaving the "cheaters" that use bots for levelling at about 8% of all signed on players. The remaining 12% are legit players and players in stalls (no telling what they are when they leave the stall).
Even if the pro-bot and anti-bot communities completely came together and decided to eliminate bots, they would stil be collectively facing a throng of 3 to 5 times as many characters, all just collecting gold for resellers.
So, want to trade/sell/give away your account? Be my guest. Like CareBear says, it is just lame, whereas the bots and botting that happens 24/7 by thousands of characters on each server .... THAT is the problem.
Good Luck!
