Wizzard with warlock sub.

Post by CurseR »

So I decided to make something with a bit more punch. :D
I was wondering if warlock would be a good sub for a wizard. The main problem is when it comes to giants and party mobs, because, normal mobs wizards can k.o in 1 hit. Will the hit, sleep, run, hit tactic work against giants?
And also i think magical defense debuffs will come in handy.
Any opinions are welcomed. 8)

And thnx in advance.

Hmm not sure whether it works, but IMO a wiz is best with cleric sub for defend buffs.

The idea of been a rogue is the ability to snipe and stab the enemy quickly.

Yeah, cleric sub works better for giants imo, but if you plan to kill giants with warlock/wizard sub I would just switch to warlock to kill the giant since you can heal yourself with vampire kiss/touch and have a shield and can debuff for less dmg and more attack power. Warlocks do well against giants on their own, wizards are pretty bad without a good set and would need some creativity, but with either cleric or warlock sub they can easily do it. It takes me 40 seconds to kill a giant around 0-5 levels higher than my own, using zerk and bless spell...those 40 secs are the safest time of my grinding cuz the giant hits for max 400 dmg with a crit at level 64 with p atks...like 20 dmg max m.atkers.

Go warlock primary if your subbing with wizard, the invisible-earth barrier- and specially teleport with be great additions to warlock skills. As for training the wizard will prove most useful, specially when you debuffed giants/pt mobs.
