Geeks/Nolifers - The new generation

Have you noticed how nerds geeks and dorks are not as ugly, gross to be around of, etc? The glasses, the puberty, the pants in the belly and the stupid shirt, among others?
The stereotype has changed a lot in the past 10 years, mainly due to the gaming community, we make dorks look good :roll:

I'm close to being a nolifer, I'm a gaming geek and I can be a real dork sometimes, yet I don't consider myself a loser, nor I talk 1337 to girls just to freak them out.
I take good care of my body (sleep is still a issue though), I even asked the doctor for resting glasses so I wouldn't screw up my sight due to all the hours I spend playing games.

Has the stereotype of us geeks changed in the past few years, or am I wrong?

gaming in general has become more and more mainstream.

I think thats a big factor too.

For the rest there's not much else what I could say about this subject though
