When facing a party-giant, I feel safe and fluffy when there's a full cleric in my party. I think it's not so much that they're the best, but clerics are a virtual necessity. Makes 'em popular; people want them here.

Best euro builds?.... maybe because they don't have the weaknesses of the other classes, mainly the healing problem and the lack of pimped equips means little when you have 100% immunity and extra defense.

But they are not really the best euro builds in terms of damage.

Cleric is good in soloing and partying, their recovery division and bless spell makes them the god of the party.

IMO, all euro chars are good at their best, nothing is to be called the best euro builds, even 1 handed s/s has high survivability although the damage is low.

Rogue with cleric sub now that's a nice choice for both pve as well as pvp.Every euro loves Bless & Recovery division etc..like the dude before mentioned clerics are a nessecity in a euro party doing party monsters.

Just yesterday using cleric buffs and healing I made wizards tank physical party mobs easily and during bless I could just sit down and let them fight considering thats God-Mode for them.

Clerics alone are not overpowered(in pvp).Cleric as a subclass however can be uber useful to assist a rogue, wizard or whatever as main.

IMO, wizard need cleric as sub more often than rogue. Rogue has stealth and scud to escape from giants, what they need is even more speed.

For real..Im only lvl 40 with my cleric and if you even say you are a cleric people will pm you like crazy..i guess that can be good as well as a bad thing when u dont know which party to choose and who too please..Either way,Its a win-win situation.

Edit:Popular not especially true, but u will be highly Appreciated by everybody in your party. And those who want you to be in theirs.

Of course, study has shown that cleric/healer/priest/bishop/shaman has the most important role in a pt in any mmorpg provided that it gives useful buffs.

A cleric is mandatory in any euro party but unlike almost all the other builds, cleric is the only one that is really good in an almost all china party as well. Who doesnt want more int/str, holyward and bless?

Well "best build" is your opion really i have friends who think warriors are the best,ect...

but clerics are great at soloing and always wanted in a party :)

and of course you can have nukes with light armour....you just dont get the 20% moving speed and 20% less mp used when casting them that you get when using robes

with light armour you get 10% less mp used and 10% moving speed(but less mag def and more phy def)

personly i perfer light armour

and ya they have lower dmg than wizard and warlock(well at least after warlock debuffs) and not sure if it has higher dmg than bard

but they also have one of the strongest(or the strongest not too sure) nuke in the game, offering and pure offering(upgraded version)

and yes im a cleric :P
