Damage of different Bow Build

Our first believe was that full str did more damage.
During that time full str Bow only does 80k damage.
But that was overthrown after some high lvl hybrid did 11Xk damage on mangyang.

I was checking the damage contest just then.
Full str did 14Xk damage on mangyang and took the crown.
Hybrid only did 12Xk damage.
But we are not sure how farmed the 2 are and whether one has no gap while the other keep a gap?

So I am a bit confused.
Which one of these build actually does higher crit and which one does better overall damage?
1) Full Str;
2) 2:1 Str Hybrid; or
3) 70:70 Int Hybrid.

Hopefully lvl 7X bow users can provide some feedback?

Personally I still don't believe that 140k >_>, but str still did a lil more then hybrid.

Out of highest possible dmg, its pretty close but I think str wins, but over all dmg hybrid gets more, although for more dmg you lose some hp/defense/crit dmg.

Crits are based on your physical balance I beleive, so you have say 100% physical balance, and you do 1,000 your crit would be +100%=2,000 dmg.

Almost correct. Crit always doubles your physical damage, regardless of your balance. Pure str just has more physical damage to begin with.

EDIT: OT. I also believe pure str crits higher. Only way to prove it though, would be with exact same gear on pure and the hybrids.

140k could always be pk2 edited, dont trust what you see.

Thats what I thought too.

I've seen Liquidsmooth in action. Hes constantly 1 hitting Niya Snipers and Niya Hunters. ~11k damage on them average.
Hes using a sun. I am lvl 74 atm also with a Sun, but i am no way close to that damage.
Hes a Str Hybrid?
I am a 70:70.

So... Str Hybrid does higher damage than a 70:70?

The 140k isn't real...just couldnt find a way to prove Euro Buffs were used.

He has pimped gears? a better sun? any number of factors. Maybe hes a higher lvl, who knows. He is also farmed as far as i know, that could be it. But imo, on a single shot without crit, i'd assume a 70:70 would do more damage, or else the build is worthless.

well from what i've seen hybrid str bow isn't all that great pure str would be the better way to go imo but i guess it really comes down to your weapon and gears

it was 149k by Death2All...he has full sun,fully farmed,fully pimped with max str on everything and I think it was +7 or something bow and that was during a strong bow crit using zerk. A rogue on the other hand does like double that dmg (alright, maybe like 230k or something) with +7 and a zerk crit. Those were not Pk2 edit damages.

bows do the same damage no matter what your build thus why people tried the pure int bow build but that 1 kinda sucked so people went spear or s/s.

The only difference between him and second place was a few stat points, which doesn't equal that much of a dmg dmg, he had cleric buffs, so did another person who was always on his side thats on the dmg contest i'm pretty sure. He wouldn't prove otherwise so ;d.

You just need to reach level 80. I always go higher of 11k with a 72+5(11k average I think is low damge for a full farmed with sun+7 bow), so when you get to 80 and farmed you will hit much more than that. Dont worry, just be patience :wink:

i think if we base the damage on crit i say str give the highest crit but hybrid bow give more damage when it comes to normal attack with imbue no crit..

so over all if we add all the normal damage hybrid give more than str does..
