solve for x; bard + X = sucess!

can someone tell me how to make a good bard build
i like the idea of rouge - bard but i dont know how good it would be
ive read that some builds switch weapons
im not too keen on that so when you give suggestions could you tell me if your suggestion has to do that
ive read that bard - clerics are good and/or wanted so i would like some mention on those too
anything else that is good that pertains to bards please let me know

if u like to sneak up on things and kill fast, like in pvp, or thief/hunter then go rogue/bard, thats what im doing atm, they are really effective, but it will be alot of sp to farm

cleric/bard i would say. but if u had to be bard, then bard/cleric.

bard/cleric or bard/rogue... But bard just 3 skillz0rz tho... So i guess u've got a sh1tload of skillz atm so ye... bard/cleric

X = success - bard <--- answer to thread title equation

By bard I'm assuming you're already doing a pure int thing. If so I would say just do pure bard and add the tambours and dances as well as your other skills or do bard/wizard if you want an easier time grinding.
