1) Offensive support, they are not the main dmg dealers but help attack more than they help defend.
2)Much less in 1 single nuke, even with debuffs, however they do maybe even more damage than wizards if all the curses are on and you nuke after that. The curses can be resisted by holy word and ultimately become useless vs anyone that uses expensive pills or anyone with cleric subclass. The curses and razes are also useless in mass PvP and even the bloody trap is pretty useless if there is a high level cleric that can buff the whole party with 100% resist.
3) Warlock/Bard - not a very good combo imo. Speed would be the only usefull buff to strengthen your warlock.
Warlock/Wizard - Pretty decent combo but you would be playing wizard more than worlock since you strategy would be to debuff for magic def, stun/sleep, switch weapons and nuke. While there is a cleric in the oponent's party, it would be mostly stun and nuke or just pure nuking. You end up with the best damage, but weaker than any wiz/cleric due to lack of defense.
Warlock/Melee - bad since your main class is warlock and you would get no use out of physical dmg, but you might get this just for the armor.

1- think you can call warlocks the perfect support in damage they will lower your enemy attacks and will lower his defense therefor giving you higher hits on that same enemy. have not tried it so my comment is only based on what i read/seen.
warlocks can survive long solo too due to their hp drains and status effect s such as stun (80%chance?) making the repot delay of euro a less danger for them.
2) a lot less damage than any other builds think they offer damage for survivability wizards or any damage dealing build are 1 shot 1 kill but same thing goes for them 1 shot 1 kill if they get attacked too, while a warlock can survive longer especially for an int based euro char.
but having status effects on your enemy increases damage of all attackers who will attack the same enemy and in my opinion making the warlock one of the most usefull chars on your side in a battle (think cleric can be number 1 but its hard since most cleric will die in 1 hit and making your own char weak)
3- since most people choose warlock for the status attacks, any combination is possible i would suggest any str tank build to have warlock as sub just to increase your damage and to drain some hp when you are close to death.
With wizard just use teleport skill while staying warlock or earth fence during fights when you have the opponent stunned or something. Also invisible and detect are useful specially when jobbing. I find wizard nukes to be a lame defeat so warlock stays primary with the wizard skills.torinchibi wrote:1) Offensive support, they are not the main dmg dealers but help attack more than they help defend.

1) uponr eading ur comments i assume warlock is more of a 'tactical' killer? although they cant kill fast but they still can kill with a combination of skills?
just wondering if walock are suited for pvp?
2))i assume warlock/cleric is one of the better combos?, since warlock already has its own offence spells, thus warlock/wizard wont really make much of a diff?
3))i was wondering wat are the pros and cons of diff stats build for warlock ? any1 mind helping?
pure int vs hybrid , i assume no there is no pure str build ?
