after about 30 minutes of trying to register my dam email, i finally was able to log in, then i did it from manage account option

might take it a couple timesbecause the site is very buggy. It loves to give me error messages "data send failed" and when i click ok, it comes back up, like 1 million times until IE crashes or i cntrl+alt+dlt it..... :banghead:

Yeah. But now, i can log on my account get codes to change the PW. Then I put new one then click comfirmed. it shows error page called "no page" and where to send bugs and stuff. I have been trying for awhile and couldn't get thro that stage. When i tried it without logging in, after i get to codes sending page, then again there is some IE error page showing up after that.

Pretty annoying, they should have tested it before releasing it into public imo.

ya, they shoulda.

The same stuff happened to me a LOT, but eventually it worked after doing it a bagillionty times

so if sby gets hacked their info can be changed now without secret anwser and stuf? this sukcs

This thing sux big time I can now login to my account at joymax portal and just change my password without ANY other info needed to give such as S.A

I don't get that give email thingy to change info ....

Well if you've already authenticated with their servers (i.e., logged in) why should they require more information to change your password? The secret answer should be used for if you forgot your password, not simply if you log in and want to change it.

When I tried this today, I didn't get the first screens you showed, but was shown a site where I could choose a different mail if needed, then a Username (had to check both for availability) and then I could simply login and do the last 2 steps you show on the screens I quoted. Although I also tried using the verification over the Email Verification button, I never got an eMail ... so can it be that they changed the system once again in only one day? Well the way it worked for me today you could change PW for any character you have ID and current PW for. And that is definitely not safe yet, because you neither needed the verification nor the secret answer :!:

you should have gotten your email right away if not try to register again

and yeah you can change your email too its the very third option/link on manage account link

I'd be surprised if AOL worked on AOL emails...
