best build for the 80 cap atm is bowers/ glaviers/ and s/s nukers for the chinese, for the Euros I'd said anyone with a cleric. I'm baseing my opinions on the pot system. Spear nukers and bladers can't do much at this cap, a lvl80 warrior 2hander can 1hit spear nukers and a blader can only annoy with flip and stab for now only a feww CRITs in a row will grant them a kill.

P.S. assuming people know how to play thier characters.

So that leaves 2 builds on the chinese side and pretty much 20-30% on the euro side who didn't go mastery/cleric, and I would probably exclude warlocks, warriors, wizards, and rogues.....wait......that leaves bard build with no subclass.......so that means 0 builds from euros since all bards would have a subclass at cap.

Spear nukers with cold can do pretty well.... if your point is that any euro would 1 hit them.... well, most euros would 1 hit anyone with equal equips.
And bladers still remain very good mass PvP chars because of their survival.

....down to no build is the best and there really isn't a bad build for PvP because there are 3 types of PvP and a forth is about to come to iSRO, making no 1 build best at everything.

When you answer that questions with utmost certainty then you can answer your own question.

this is not comparable at all. the type of pizza depends on your taste. there is no question about the advantages or disadavantages of something.

but if he asks about pvp builds/weapons, he tries to find the best solution for the trade-off, that we all have to encounter. eg blade do the smalles damage, but is nearly immortal, bow lvlst teh fastest, but do less damage than eg a glaive. a glaive does the highest damage (without crit) than any other full str chars. but he neither doesn't have a shield, which can nullify an attack nor does he has range like bow. so there's is a trade-off.

the question now is not to decide what you like. cuz if you really like a special kind of build or a weapon, u gonna play that char, no matter how much disadvantages he has. but if you wanna find the best solution of the trade-off, you have to find the best build/weapon, which has the most advantages, given its weaknesses. in my opinion, full str glaive is the char, that deals best with the trade-off. [i gotta go rite now, but i will give some arguments on this thesis later].

There is no pvp balance in the game in these times.
Eu builds are extremely strong.
Pot usage cap is ineffective due the vigor pot.
Eu xbow is imba. (imbalanced)
80 lvl xbow critted 21k damage to my lvl 80 glavier (+4 set full alchemy, 9 gap farm, 21160k hp).
The same xbower critted to lvl 80 blade 16k easily. Almost have same items with me.
Till Joymax nerf the eu chars, pvp king of the game is eu.

Bladers WERE the best defense builds, now paladins [warrior/cleric] are the best defense build. Most defense, defense self buff, and because of the effects of the attacks they pretty much don't get hit. Sword and shield paladin is the best tanker in the game now.

And bladers are hardly undefeatable, in fact, they can't really kill any chinese str char with the same equips.


Best PvP char really does not exist. Everyone knows that is a fact. You cannot really generalize PvP with 1 char. 1 vs 1, a wizard might be the best because of 1 hit KO nukes, but so same with rogues because of 1 hit KO crits. Job wars, maybe a glavier vs many opponents. In sieges, again either wizard due to aoe skills, or rogue due to range, maybe even bow later on when they get the range increase skills, but that's wall to ground sieges, once the door is broken, it's maybe blader or warrior, since they will all be buffed and healed in these situations and the tankers will be more likely to survive the bashing.

Even in PvP there are several types of PvP and not 1 of the chars is best at all of those types, they are better at some, but worse at others.

sorry to burst your bubbe buddy even with bleed a blader cant kill me if i am standing still....if he got a sun blade i will just use a shield and snow shield.

If you mean this .. I can say that there are 2 euro builds (1 STR , 1 INT)

First : pure str Rogue/cleric in light armor is the elite str build ..
you are heavy damger (2nd heaviest with crit [first is pure int cleric and even wizard can't do damge as your crit] ) and you are heavy tanker (2nd heaviest with cleric rod/shield with all these healing buffs and def skills and passives + pure str build [first may be warrior/cleric]) .. you also can do all str effects wich stop any enemy : KD,KB for crossbow & Stun, bleed for dagger + bind effect from cleric

Second : pure int cleric/warlock in light armor is the elite int build ..
you can do the nuclear bomb and kill all people 8m around you and you can attack with static number don't depend on your enemy def and stat .. warlock can stop the enemy and give you enough time to cast offering , warlock can also de-buff enemy def and attack and everything that mean he id defensive and offensive at the same time .. and you have all mag effects in the world .. and you have the damn block from your shield ..

For chinese it may be 80:80 bow and hybrid spear INT ...

but you still can't say the best build ... look at these examples :

- wizard and rogue can do the extreme damge that other builds can't survive but blader can survive and block and kill them fast as they have no def no Hp to deal the most damge ..

- cleric can survive with all that healing skills but he will get owned when he be stunned , KB , KD , freeze , as he can't use skills ..

- warrior have great def buffs and HP but pure INT chinese in armor (specialy s/s) will own him ..

- warlock can stop anything and do all effects but cleric holy word resist almost all his mastery ..

- Glavier have the best HP in game and with no delay in pots but a rogue canl 1 hit him ..

- blader seems to be the best tanker but a warrior can tank him better and kill him
