Har har, I just found out my dual core processor was running UT3 on one core. Added one thing to the command line and it runs fine on max settings. Games are running even nicer with that extra code.

Find the game .exe that you use to start it with, right click and click properties, add -renderthread 1 after the command line, and enjoy your performance boost.
Should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo\Binaries\UT3Demo.exe" -renderthread 1
Maxed out my FPS in Guild Wars and City of Heroes just by adding that.
Lately i was getting way to many power failures while playing UT3 online...What causes those failures and restarts?
My system specs:
AMD Athlon X2 3800 + Dual-Core optimizer installed
1 Gb of Ram
nVidia 8600GT + latest drivers

is this why silkroad was laggy for me? i posted my comp specs on page 2 i think.
Silkroad shouldn't lag in the first place lol. That line works for dual core processors only anyway. So if you have been lagging, but somehow still have two cores and want to make sure you're using them both, add the line.
Well, I'm sure the game would be more fun with a keyboard and mouse, but Epic isn't a stupid dev team, the game still looks as good on PS3. And if you can, you could just get the keyboard and mouse for PS3 anyway right? Also, they said that any content released (like patches and mods and stuff) that's available on PC will be available to PS3 users too for free.

I won't be buying UT3 but thank goodness that Epic is willing to stand up when others developers havn't. Microsoft's policy on the 360 has something to do with it but it's great to see a company offer this...finally.
wow UT is making another game? it hought they already stopped, oh well i guess ill resintall my gold version again...its still a very fun game.
i love thos transforming vehicles...
I'll know in a couple hours. Wait for me to come back with Super Mario Galaxy!!! WOOOOOOO
Crysis is more of a SP experience with major eye candy
UT3 is more of a long run kind of game with (probably) a solid multiplayer just like its predecessors and solid graphics
