Need some help about extract/inject method

well i've been browsing guides about pk2 editing every thing went well with the xvi32 program but then i saw cruor's guide about changing seals looks couldnt get it to work at all i was like

i mean i am clueless about that method kept searching all day for a guide about that method unfortunatly havent found any......so kindly can anyone do a guide about that
