It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out we have a bot infestation in Silkroad.
The problem lays solely with the players of Silkroad.
Its not the players that use bots to farm or LVL their characters. They take up one slot in the server.
The problem is the gold bots and other clientless bots. These can take up heaps of slots.
So how do we stop the gold bots.
EASY>>>> STOP BUYING GOLD FROM THEM>>>

When people stop buying gold. The gold companies will go broke. THE END FINISH NO NEED FOR GOLD BOTS.
Something Else that happens when people stop buying gold.
Our economies becomes MUCH MUCH MUCH much MUCH... more affordable.

Say No to temptation Say NO to GREED and U will find one day no more gold bots and no more SUN 8D Glavies costing u 1.5Billion to Buy.

Its the community's fault we have this bot problem, and its Joymax's responsibility to clean after greedy f**kers.
People will NEVER stop buying gold while its possible.
Every time theres a bot ban or anything that makes it harder to farm gold, the gold prices FLY up, if Joymax ban them every week or AT LEAST every month there wont be so f**king many of them and the gold prices will go up by a lot which will stop some people from buying gold.
30 bux for 100m, no wonder people buy gold.

By the way, people won't stop buying gold. It's a way to cheat safely hard to be detected unless you want to. Morons, yes, but will this topic make them reconsider all the evilness they already done and go for their rendemption? No.

We're awaiting something to be done by part of the authorities (Joymax), can we all just be quiet while that doesn't happen?!

Powerful weapons is the reason why we have a major gold bot problem. People want to buy power and the gold bots help fuel that.

crowdes servers is no problem, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out all you have to do is login ingame during the hours when its not crowded, if you job or school is at conflict just quit em and concetrate at SRO

That'd be nice but the majority of people that play SRO probably never even come on the forum much less see this post. There are people with loads of money who will never stop buying gold.

Every new guy comes in n start telling the others that hav been in this forum for much much longer abt their genius thought abt stopping bots.
This happens over n over again.

OT: Bots can't be stopped. Look at the papers everyday. Threre is no "we", the community in SRO will not unite against bots EVER.

Even in real life laws are being break everyday. Y do u think the jail is over crowded?

Clearly know that wasn't the point of his post. There are bots, there are gold buyers.

But seriously while its the Silkroad Community's fault for buying the gold.

I agree its Joymax responsibility to get rid of the gold bots. Its in their best interest anyways. They money these mofos don't spend on Gold Buying, they "may" spend on the item mall.

What can you do? We certainly complained a lot. And still no response from Joymax.

Everyday, new posts about how much Joymax blows. How bots are aggravating. How gold buying ruined the economy and the PvP and community. SoSun destroying the game.

But you still play.....

When you finish playing sro of a night, what do you do? You either log out or put up a store. When you log out, it frees up a server slot. Now lets say theres 500 player bots. Lets say they play legit during the day, but at night or when away from the pc they leave their bots on. Thats 500 less free servers.

If we buy Gold why would we bitch about gold bots??

the scenario: If BOB buys gold he would want gold bots since it allows him to be able to "buy" gold.... bob also buys a PT b/c if he buys gold then why not pt ( he is obsessive enough to afford it anyway). Bob then never has to worry about the issue you brought up mainly server traffic due to gold bots. Bob gets the best of both worlds while the rest of us get the shaft.

The truth is that the majority of us are broke... we don't buy silk much less gold...

Lol, speaking of bots... I saw a botfest gathering in Smarkaland (sp? lol)... I died while grinding, then spawn back at town and found 20+ chars with names like "zsdfj, fdsasdf, fsdfoi, fqwer, igayalot, urmomugly, isukbot, botmealllongtime, ibotulongtime, xyzviagragood and the list goes on..." was gonna take a screenie cause it lookjed so funny... but naw not gonna waste my 150gb space hard drive.
