Death and Travel - A Conundrum

Ok i'm a noob and have a question about death and getting back to where u died.

I'm level 19 and currently doing the Kill 100 Serines quest. Every time i die though i have that looooong friggin run back to the beach. Is there another place to "tie to" so to speak that when i die i won't be so far away from the beach?

Haven't quite figured that out yet.

This is from my euro quest guide. It's under construction, really, but it has one good piece of info that you should have used while you were questing.

Guide Riise is your friend. He will help you, a lot. He's next to the Atlas Statue, between the Blacksmith and the Armor Trader. Look at all the cool stuff he will help you with:
-Teleport you to the Carisius Door (North Gate) for 10 gold
-Teleport you to the Pegae Door (West Gate) for 10 gold
-Teleport back to where you last used your return scroll
-Teleport to the last place you died
-You can teleport to him from the Carisius or Pegae doors for 10 gold too.
His services are avaiable up to level 20.

After level 20, only reverse return scrolls can do that for you.

If you are a Euro char you can reverse return at the NPC that is standing near the teleport, I think until you are 21. After that, you either walk, ride a horse or buy item mall reverse return scrolls.

Aah yes Riise was my friend when i could return up to a point.. says lvl 20 but doesn't work for me anymore. I used to get so mad when people would die and yell "REzzzzzz"... I'd yell, "Riiiiiiise"

Ok so it seems that Reverse return scrolls are what i have to use now? How can i obtain those?

Can you explain the gates to me? Is there a map of their locations etc.? I'm assuming that's a portal exit / entry. Sorry still a n00b

Carisius door is the north gate of Constantinople, and Pegae Door is the west gate.

Sorry, Riise won't do anything for you if you're over level 20, neither teleporting to gates nor teleporting back to where you died/used a return scroll. Walk or buy silk.

For now it's best you come back to Constantinople. When you hit level 30 though, you can go to Samarkand. Just look at the teleport at the center of the town and choose the option to change your ressing place to Samarkand. All town portals have this.

There is also a npc teleport character in Jang infront of the palace - same thing though...only works up to lvl 20...he will return you to where you died.

i was about to mention him since so few know he's there

i was messing around in janang and i saw a solider that had like the word teleport in his name so i talked to him and behold he was the guy that did the same thing as the euro guide

ya they added that after the euro update, to make it fair for both races. Jangan is dead after euro update!
