Does anybody know the world record for longest time having not taken a shower or any form of bathing?
Probably like 13 years or something.
homeless ppl don't shower so theres a good chance the actual record would be longer than that

Not until rather recently have people been showering. Before water sanitation, you would best be off not showering to keep up with personal hygiene. I believe it was Louis XIV that only bathed twice in his life; but, for the most part nobility didn't bathe.

I mean recent world record, like last 50~ years.
Most peasants didn't bathe what so ever.
Oh yeah... Homeless people, I dunno. I was first gonna say like 50 years, but then I thought "Who the hell doesn't bathe for 50 years???" Even a homeless person like washes somehow.

the best time to shower is during winter...lol shower for like 1.5 hours.. in warm water oooOOoo never feel like gettting out
especially when you swim competitively, not in warm club pools, but freezing cold "practice pools"
ive gone a week most without showering, and my hair got all greasy, and my armpits were itchy o.O

yes, because thousands of people, with various different diseases all getting into the same water naked together is very sanitary.
Roman "baths" weren't baths, they were pools for relaxation.

I don't understand you people -_-
@Xemnas
I dunno if you think they were really baths or not, but I'm gonna assume that's what you think.
They weren't baths, in latin bath roughly just translates to spa.
I mean, they weren't stupid and usually when they were sick they wouldn't go to baths (though they went to that one in England... Aquae Sulis or whatever).
But it wasn't a very healthy practice. Though it kept their scalp pretty clean.
@Probe
Yeah, not too easy to get 100% clean unless you are a sterile bandaid (wtf?).

Greeks and Romans are always exempt.
Back to the classic example: Rome had running water at the time of Jesus; it wasn't until the 1950s for all the parts of Rome to have the same luxury.
