Abnormal termination error?

Hiya everyone, hope you are all well.

I'm actually posting this for my husband who's having an error/game crash problem at the moment. I've searched through the error listings, and my apologies if it's been posted before.

Ok whats happening is, first he was getting the ???? mark error, and as suggested by some here, he has done the exe file windowsME change and updated his drivers, and that seems to have settled down now *touch wood*

Although now he is getting a different one, which crashes the game and says something about Runtime Abnormal Termination. Can anyone help with this error please, or have any suggestions? I haven't come across this one as yet, and neither as he

i used to get that error but the problem was the game was making my comp. over heat.
cleaned out the fan and hey presto it stopped
however i think your problem is something different could internet connection issue or windows just has it out for your sro client.
i'll try and figure out what it is for you

Ok current status is, that hubby has reinstalled the game and that...touch wood has seemed to fix it for the moment. I'd still be interested to hear of other players experiences with this error. I now have some other friends who state they are receiving the same error

when you get the error is it while you have been afk for a while?
because if i leave my character dead i will get the error.
could you tell me when roughly the problem happens
