which nuker build?

Post by microcosm »

I rerolled a hybrid 90% int nuker character on Greece.
And I'm wondering which build to use. Post which of the following would be better for pvp and pve..thanks (and REASONS!)

1. 90 fire / 90 light / 60 ice / 60 heuksal (1k hp passive)

2. 90 fire / 90 light / 60 ice / 60 bicheon (block rate passive)

3. 90 fire / 90 light / 60 heuksal / 60 bicheon (both passives but no ice)

4. 60 fire / 60 light / 60 heuksal / 60 bicheon / 60 ice (passives and ice but no masteries left)

5. 90 light / 90 ice / 60 heuksal / 60 bicheon (passives and ice but no fire)

Thanks.

You should of kept the 90% int nuker. 90% is sitll good, and besides almost all pure ints that reach the high 6x start putting some points into str and don't go under 90% because they just don't have the health to take a couple hits at a time.

max fire - get imbue, and nuke (dont have to max because your going to max light nuke wich is better anyways, just wait till second fire book nuke to lvl), nothing else(i dont get anything else)

max light - get pierce series max, lion shout seriese maxed, passive maxed (optional, i dont), nuke maxed all books, and grass walk maxed, ghost walk too for quick escaping

just bring up force when you feel like it for harmony therapy, heal, and res

i use sword\shield garments, my weapon skills are kinda buzzed right now, but i dont use them anyways so yeah

cold = badddddd IMHO

The first one, but don't get Ice Nukes; just max the passives, and get frost guard.

i vote for:
3. 90 fire / 90 light / 60 heuksal / 60 bicheon (both passives but no ice)

use sword and shield. foreget ice, the buffs aren't percentages, they're fixed numbers, and they are insignificant at higher lvls. the ice nuke is weaker than those in fire and light, and fire and light together have 5 nukes, so that should be all you need. plus you have three shouts and all the important buffs and passives covered.

I don't think a 55 phy defence power is insignificant, at any level (68 ice buff)

Sorry Sui, but i have to disagree. I find the reason that the ice buff is numbers is because an INT doesn't have as much physical defense as a STR build, so % increases wouldn't help as much as fixed numbers

84 Phys defense is never insignificant.

I am still 90% int nuker.. 8)
I just wanted to start on a new server with friends..lol
Anyway, I guess I'll go spear/ice/fire/lightning since everyone seems to agree...
can someone give some pros /cons of it?

With Spear, you take a bit more damage, but in turn you have more hp, so that balances.

As all Ints, it has craaaaaaaaazy damage.

It will get killed in PvP by a Pure STR, however, you will outlast a Pure Int easily.

wait..lets try somehting else
how does
light/ice nuker with bicheon and heuksal skills and passive (kd, ss, ghost, etc.)
fare against
fire light ice nuker with heuksal skills and passive only? (ss, ghost, etc.)

First hit wins. That's basicly a nuker fight.

I don't think I've ever seen an int one shot kill another int of the same level, wearing garments of course.
