Fad or not, some animes are really good and worth watching IMO. Definitely not anything like Pokemon though.

yes and not alot of kids 10 or younger watch stuff like Death Note or Bleach..

organic if you watched a few episodes you'd understand.

You'd wouldn't be surprised to know how many 10 year olds watch bleach and naruto. It numbers in the millions probably.

Anyway don't link the Melancholy of Haruhi Suziwhatsit ( :roll:

) in with those kinds of anime. Its alot better than them and deeper especially the manga. I'd compare it to something like FLCL or Excel Saga....

well really for me anime is total crap, i dont understand why people even watch it?

this of cource has nothing to do with the age, but still whats so interesting about it, i even find the graphics ugly sometimes as those big eyes used with no nose people, and animal ears? wth :roll:

Some anime are fun to watch. You can try a love comedy like Ouran Host Club or something with action like Bleach. Something for everyone.

i feel bad for my favorite mod ( cause he like kitties ) so ill answer his questoin, a fad is kinda like something that everyone is likeing at the moment. Kinda like a jump on the band wagon thing.

Try watching "Shigurui" or even tryout the good old "Ergo proxy".
