1 minute to do and 45 minutes/270mb to upload. Some of us are on Comcast, and so we don't have the luxury of being able to stay connected more than ten minutes at a time or uploading things without worrying about our invisible bandwidth cap. Also, what do I get out of it? They say noobs stay noobs, and now I see why. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR MEDIA.PK2, Place it on your desktop or something and do NOT rename it. I have a file on my desktop with all my media.pk2's in em filed by the mod
Also, don't forget to exit the hex program when you start the game, or it will corrupt the file!!!

The easiest step in all this. Taken from http://www.silkroadforums.com, credits to pantrofl.ok first off allllllllllll..
Make a backup file of ur Media.pk2 in ur silkroad directory
you need to download this :

ok now open up the file xvi32.exe
once u opend go to
File > Open > [Your silkroad directory] > Media.pk2
after u opend media.pk2 you go to
Search > Replace > click on the box infront of 'Find' > Text string, and click as Unicode aswell, also on the right boddom of the Replace window click instead of Cursor on Begin like this :
ok now fill in the codes to get ur degree into the degree u want it to
weapon codes:
item\china\weapon\sword_XX.ddj
item\china\weapon\bow_XX.ddj
item\china\weapon\spear_XX.ddj
item\china\weapon\blade_XX.ddj
item\china\weapon\tblade_XX.ddj (glavie)
item\china\shield\shield_XX.ddj
ok.. XX signifies each degree you are wanting to change.. for instance 08 is degree 8 and 01 is degree 1 and so on.. anyways, now u fill in the top 'Find' thing you just clicked on as in the image one of the weapon codes i just gave, this will be the degree u want to change to an other degree
and in the second 'Replace with' thing you just clicked on as in the image one you pute in the same weapon code as in the top one for the desired degree u wont
example:
Find:
item\china\weapon\sword_07.ddj (7th degree sword)
Replace with:
item\china\weapon\sword_09.ddj (9th degree sword)
Next you must replace the bsr also.. bsr is what you see on your char or in the world. ddj is what you see in inventory.
example:
Find:
item\china\weapon\sword_07.bsr (7th degree sword)
Replace with:
item\china\weapon\sword_09.bsr (9th degree sword)

This is realllllly easy. Easier then modding weapons actually.. Props to pantrofl. Anyway:For clothes these are the codes:

\light_XX (protector)
\heavy_XX (armor)
do the same as what we just did with the weapons, but now u fill this in
*Remember* there is no .ddj / .bsr needed with clothes
Example :
Find:
\clothes_07 (garment 7th degree)
Replace with:
\clothes_09 (garment 9th degree)

Do you see that find/replace users? One expression changes every single item from 1D to 9D. Doesn't matter if it's Chinese, Euro, armor, blade, shield, whatever. Maybe now you see the power of actually extracting files.
All items were changed from D1-D5, D2-D4, D3-D7 as you requested. That is all you are getting out of me, if you can't figure injection out then forget about it.

I didn't really do it for him, I did it so others could see what they are missing. No, you don't understand. If I run just that 1 command from the prompt it replaces all items from D1 to D9. If you used find/replace to do the same thing it would take far longer because you have to repeatedly change your search queries for each type of gear. It took my computer less than a minute to do all those operations. So you NEVER EVER asked for help? I'm sure when you did it came across as annoying and possibly begging. I myself am guilty of spamming cruor before, but now have my own ways to change whatever I want simply with scripts.
But thing is, why react in the way you did? Yeah sure he has a low pos count, sure hes acting like his life depends on it. Postcount means nothing. When cruor first did his pk2 ... who was he? Yet what did he turn out to become .... a bloody legend in his time. You on the other hand are somethign else.
