Chinese Bow or Euro Xbow?

I think xbow is bettter i was pvping whit one guy my lvl i am bower str he knocked me down i tried to use skills but nothing happend then he knocked me back and again down when i stand up i still couldnt use skills afther some knock backs and downs i died

And 8D max crit on bow = 15, Xbow = 23 or 25 or something like that. And if crit is the only way Bowers win PvP, then....yeah.

And who was it that said he kills mobs 14 levels higher at 5x with xbow? I would like to see a chinese bower do that. By the way, if you are killing monsters 11 levels higher, you are powerlvling yourself.

with the ghost walk series, its very easy to close up the distance in a short amount of time and with the new ability to stun and knockback for the bow
and with bow's xtreme speed advantage, interrupting a xbow is not a problem at ALL.

Erm, xbow has "Extreme Xbow" which buffs their damage tremendously
plus the fact xbow damage is > bow (don't believe me? go compare it at npc shop)

This is the same pretty much, maybe bow has that combo move which knockbacks but anything else has pretty much the same cast rate. (xbow could be faster imo)

Did you even read the previous posts? bow crit avg 9-13, xbow crit avg is 13-20+...do maths and go figure!

Before you can "ghostwalk" to a xbow, he already has you locked on target at huge range...and their knockdown / knockback skills are 50% probability...good luck interrupting a xbow when YOU'RE the one being interrupted.

as far as my experience goes, i have NVR ever being interrupted as BADLY as u portrayed. i usually win 3/5 rounds per pvp with xbow match. my friends an xbow and he and i always pvp against each otehr and/or with other union ppl. but most of the time i pvp outside of samak and hotan.

maybe our play style is a bit different? O.o

pengachu, the people you PvPed must have either been bad, had bad equips, or simply had bad luck. You should know that at higher levels, the Xbow actually has 50% knock down and 75% knock back. You don't get interrupted? Please, you really think having 1 interrupt skill will win against having 2 high level interrupt skills and 2 lower level to possibly use for the sake of the effect?

Speed of attack is the same really, and the +15 meter attack may be 51% but you can use it after every shot to add damage since it attacks instantly.

The only reason why bow would ever win against crossbow is pot delay, which matters very little with a really good crit crossbow (20+).

my friends that use xbow never rarely lose to a bower because they get disabled/interrupted/1 critical killed before they do enough damage

most problematic for them is nukers/wizards rather due to insane 1 hit damage nukes.

anyways, aas torinchibi pointed out, it's highly unlikely to NOT be interrupted by a xbow and I've never seen anyone who hasn't in high level PvPs.

what level are your friends again?

chinese str bow isnt great for pvp untill higher lvls i dont think..like mine did alright but other builds like bladers/glaivers did a bit better for pvp. (i was lvl 53). chinese bow only gets the knockback and stun at lvl 73 and 76. i dont know alot about pvping with rouges

Watch that rogue video posted in general. The rogue Pwned pure STR full sun blader in 1 hit with crits, pretty sure he was using crossbow. And with crossbow he was 2 shotting level 80s. So if you zerk, you can pretty much clear the field before you die.

It doesn't have best builds but it has better builds. A crossbow is just better than a bow hands down. On equal terms, excluding pot delay, a crossbow will win 4/5. You just cannot really do much when your long lasting skills are always getting disrupted. Unless you plan to kill the rogue with something like....full combo moves to the max. Although you will be down after you use the KB move.

My crossbow rogue 3 lvls ago...

My weapon = lvl 35+4 crossbow

I don't even think a same lvl chinese bow user can hit that much with a lvl 32 SoSUN +7. (unless someone wants to prove me wrong here. )

And in PVP, theres always stealth. Ya, you can try to detect with skill/pills, but their max range = 15m. Minimum range with crossbow = 18-21m, long shot +7m, fast shot +15m. Have fun trying to detect a crossbow rogue.

This means that you take the skills for xbow in account but you don't look at the bow skills...Because with the bow skills you can get a much higher crit than 15...
