MU was bought by K2 Network, and I was sure it would become P2P before they even announced it. I quit MU, then started searching for a new game. Short interlude with Pangya! in between. Then I saw some people at MUHQ talking of moving to Silkroad, and I downloaded the game. Started playing December 7th 2005, shortly after Troy opened. Called a large mass of internet friends to Silkroad, and I'm one of the few that still play it.

Ah, getting killed by mangyangs..
Those mangyangs are vicious! They'll gang up on you 30 at a time if you provoke them.

a friend told me... at first he just kept blabbering about it and we wouldn't try it out. then in the end i finally looked at it and I liked it. I caught up with his lvl pretty soon and somewhere around lvl 18 he quit <.< (but a few weeks ago i won a race from him so now he' play sro for one week, muhahahahah). he said '' the area is boring and empty and lvl is slow'' (but that's because e only gets to play an 1:30 minutes max a day).

People from another game (Diablo2), the Army_Of_Gods cla, started playing it and quit Diablo 2... Months later, I have joined them again in the new game, Silkroad XD

I had heard about it from a few other games. This was my first post on srf talking about my very first char...I was pissed because I had lost 480 sp by donating it to my guild. Very funny now that I look back on it. =0

I got introduced to this game by some classmates, they used to play SRO during the norwegian lessons. At first it looked fun, and I downloaded a few days later. Wasn't impressed at first, played it a week before getting tired of the "endless grinding" (level 1 to 10 was a bit overkill). I never thought I would ever try this game again, but three months later I was really bored and decided it was time to go on a massive killing spree in the mangyangfield. I never had much time to play, but I tried to play SRO whenever my schedule allowed it. At this point my classmates had quit the game, and they couldn't understand why I was still playing. Played like 5 hours a week (afk stalling not included), so it took a long time to level, but I never really cared. This was my first and last mmo, and I have really enjoyed playing SRO. Don't regret playing it at all
