No worries man I know you don't speak for every mod lol. And it's not like that always happens. There are plenty of times though where it feels like a mod is needed but none show up.

Made a thread like this in the Site Discussion/Suggestions forum.. the answer was making all the mods global mods instead of hiring more for individual areas

That would work if they removed all the inactive mods that we don't even see posting.

SG is an administrator. Although he rarely posts, everything in the background is coordinated by him.

Well, as stated before. It is a thing of time zone, we are an international forum. With international users. Of course we will not be on at the same time all the time.

You must remember, when we pick mods we do look at the time zone. (Thats why we ask) however, if we feel that a more appropriate candadit is in a closer time zone (i.e not like in a completely different time zone for him to mod) then we would much rather choose the better qualified one.

Also we do have social lifes and real lifes. I wont lie, over the past 2 weeks my activity has been dreadfull. However, this is because i have 4 major projects due in at the end of this week. Extended Essay, World Litterature Essay, Geography CourseWork and French Oral. This has been unbelievably time consuming, and has left relativley little time to mod, let alone play the game.

However, whenever a recieve a PM. Ill jump on the forums, deal with what needs to be delt with and return to my slavery of work. So yeah, tbh the BEST way to reach a mod is to PM us. If there is something you really want to be delt with, or something you think we should keep an eye on. PM us. We will always read the PM, we will always deal with what needs to be delt with in the best way, and you will get notification. It might not be straight away, but we will reply to your PM.

Remember, the best way to keep the forum clean is for you guys to get involved. Just because we are the mods, and have the ability to remove innapropriate things, does not mean you should not warn us and just wait for things to come to our attention. It's a huge forum, and tbh there is just too much for everysingle mod to keep an eye on. Even if we recruited like 50 more mods it would still be way to much. You guys need to help us help you. We are all relativley nice, we dont bite... hard XD

So yeah, even thought you dont see us much. We are still around. SG is on everyday dealing with things in the Mod section.

Mods are doing just fine, you can't expect every spam topic deleted in 10 seconds after posting. Mods are not machines.

Just contribute to it the way you can, meaning, dont click on them, dont post in them, don't look at them.

They'll be gone before you know it.

quite a bit of members pm members of the mod team when they see a spam
thread n they know that mod is online.. that helps a lot too

OT: You complain when the mods aren't active, you complain where they are active i don't get you ppl. Its ok i understand alot of you mods have social lives and even though its your job im sure rushing home from whatever your doing to babysit a site full of 12 year olds isn't as alluring as it sounds. I for one think your doing a great job, always have.

I wish they'd warn ppl or leave a note or something b4 they delete entire threads though...its kinda CIAish one minute a thread is there you hit refresh and every trace of it has vanished without explanation....

There was just a thread in GD a poll about whether you botted or not about 4-5 pages i think....not locked, not cleaned, no warning just gone. And im pretty sure the biggest flame in the whole thread was just me and vin basically calling each other assholes which had nothing to do with the topic at all and was only like 4 post......
