When to start farming?

I'm a xbow rogue/bard, currently lvl 33 w/ mastery at 32. I need to farm about 180k sp, and was wondering when I should start farming. I read about some chinese bower farming at lvl 42 (mastery 33) on sungsung/sosungsung cause theres no giants or something, and someone else recommended farming @ penons at lvl 53/54. I personally wanted to farm at 80 cap, but I heard its kinda slow.

So when should I start farming, and on what? I will be doing alot of trades at lvl 39, so maybe I can afford a lvl 42 sox xbow when I'm done (on Poseidon).

BTW, how do you add the server thingie under the avatar? I can't find it under options.

I was going to suggest farming at ongs, but seing that you already have level 3x masteries, I wont. I would recommend sosungs/sosungsungs, they have a really good droprate, good spawnrate and you probably wont be bugged by goldbots or power levelers. As for the question about adding server location, simply type in your servername in "locations" (can be found under the profile section).

Hmm, tried that but it didn't work (or maybe Poseidon isn't implemented in SRF?).

So I guess that sunsungs would be best for farming? And just now "bad" is penons and farming at 80cap?

I suggest you don't farm.

Just keep a 2-3 lvl gap...

Farming (gap 9) in euro is a very noob action .. and means that some people still have very old mind and they can't understand what's the life in SRO euro :banghead:

Do you really think that you can wear - 9 : -11 lvls full set and have -9 mastery lvls and go farming ?! :shock:

And why farming ?
Euro just need gap 1~3 all the way from 1 : 80 .. 180 k in nothing .. you will have 70 k SP from lvl 69 : 80 with zero gap ... I don't remember the amount with 3 gap but it's big enough ..

And for X-bow .. you will have your all mastery at 40 at least .. before 40 the way crossbow fighting isn't that perfect .. you haven't your 4th attack that can KD the enemy .. KD means stop the enemy and attack with +50% increase .. it's lvl 40 skill and it's the minmum mastery lvl to have before farming .. that means you only place to farm is Karakoram penons .. and there in karakoram you will find a lot of gaints / party mobs / higher lvls nukers farming .. all this will slow your farm and your set will be ugly against them and you will keep dieing ..

And you have bard as sub .. that's already have too few skills to spend SP for a rogue .. and you are x-bow that need the least SP ever in the game ...

If you are a crossbower only (no sub - no dagger) you will need only zero gap from 1 : 80 .... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so gap 1~2 for the bard sub will give you enough SP ...

AND :
DON"T FARM >> DON"T FARM >> DO"NT FARM

I seem to remember something about Poseidon had to be misspelled in order to work, like this - "Posiedon". I'm not 100% sure though.

I want to get xbow + dagger, so I will need:

xbow+dagger /sub bard = 267,786 sp

0gap from 1-80 = 128,233 sp
sp to farm = 139,563 sp = ~140k sp

1gap = need to farm 111k sp
2gap = need to farm 76k sp
3gap = need to farm 30k sp

I will need minimum 4 gap just to NOT farm - which means my skills are 1 notch weaker than a 0gap, and 4 gap equipment = not that good for PvE. I rather just spend a few weeks/months farming slowly at sosungsung/sungsungs than to lvl slowly with 4 gap (3 gap onwards = lvl MUCH slower).

I dunno, I think I rather not worry about sp than to gap forever.

you should have farmed while you where 16. but hmm.. I have a better idea, try to lvl fast to 65 and make a 9 gap and go to DW cave, kill the soldiers ^^. they mob up so fast .. ^^

Well, I went to sosungsungs/sungsungs to check out the spawn rate. Not as good as ongs, but still good. At lvl 35 w/ lvl 35 crossbow+4, I can 1hit them with longshot and 1power shot + 2 normal hit. With a lvl 42+3 (Or sos if people are selling it:P ), I should be able to 1hit with both skills.

Giants wont be a problem, cause my pet can tank them by then (lvl 42 tanking lvl 37/38 boss) Party giant = rare and easy to avoid (And usually theres a party there, so I can even ks that thing or just continue farming). For now I'm just grinding at Ongs till 37/38, then start training at sungsungs. I will be trading ALOT at lvl 39, so I won't be farming so soon (school gonna start in 3 weeks. :banghead:

Off course not , you can't 1 hit them by both skills even if you have sos ..

I'm lvl 42 with 42+3 bow (phy +37%) & crit 10 , my balance is 97% and my mastery is 40 and I can't 1 hit them with power shot .. :shock:

Still too little HP with the monster that make me fast shot him to finish ...

Your mastery will be 33 only , you can't 1 hit them as you imagine ..
and long shot take 5 sec to cooldown , I was vey happy with my skills under 40 when I get it , but Now i belive that a crossbower without lvl 40 mastery is not good enough .. the power shot real power will appear only if you can KD the enemy and the power shot him to have +50% attack increase ...

Also your skills isn't enough to take down party monster in your extreme bow .. he will kill you faster than you kill him .. you need to KD him and KB him to stay alive till he die .. and the when you long shot then power shot you will find no skills to attack for 2 sec till both skills cooldown .. that's make killing long HP monsters a pain ..

The best place for a crossbower is a non-aggro place to be safe and use your extreme bow with no fear ..

If you wanna farm at 42 with mastery 33 I suggest lvl 37 assult lancers .. they don't attack and they have good spawn rate .. and I hope that you can 1 hit with strong shot , but it's so hard and need very high phy balance by a lot of str in your set ...
