Incorrect, I'm buying a 360 Elite (Yes, I know, a sony fanboy turned microsoft), and after all the stuff you need it comes to $850 CDN, but for PS3, I can get the same with 80 GB hard drive instead, and one game, 2 controllers for only $700 CDN.

I'm still buying the Elite, but only because with the funds microsoft has from people paying for Xbox Live, they can afford to make it a lot better. Playstation still has great online, but not as good because they want their gamers to have it for free.

Also, PS3 has some great shooters on it too. (Socom, MGS, Killzone, etc.) but Xbox is better for shooters. PS3 beats out on RPGs though with Final Fantasy and such being Sony Exclusives.

Overall, Xbox is the way to go if you want to play by yourself, with friends, or online.

PS3 is for playing more by yourself, and online than with friends, with single player games like WarHawk, Lair, and MGS4.

Wii is more for friends, with games like Boxing, and other 4-8 player games.

Those are what you need to decide between. I vote 360, because I love the online, even though you have to pay for it (but it's not that much - $60/year).

And yes, I am a sony fanboy, because Sony builds good stuff, Xbox is built like crap (No offense, but have any of you ever taken apart an Xbox, and looked inside? It's horrible, compared to PS3) However, Xbox has superior online, and way more games for the time being until PS3 gets rolling with MGS4 and FFXIII.

And talking to FF13, has it been pushed back to 2008 realise as well? and
i didnt really like the first few FF games anyway, before they took there time
with them...now they rush them out and they seem to have lost that well
"spark" that once made them so great.

Well Sony lost almost all of their exclusive apart from MGS, FF and GoW, the
reason was that they keep putting off giving developers the PS3 coding required
for the game so Microsoft came in and stole them all.

But now its just a case of bad PS3 sales forcing companies to realise on
xbox360 for profit.

with friend the wii is really fun to do.

and the PS3 is only using 30% of it's graphical performance right now, so...

Well blame Sony, they messed around thinking they could take their time
with the game...and well now we know that they all/most of them went
to Microsoft/Nintendo.
and now because of slow/poor sales figures most developers dont even
want to develop games for the PS3 until it starts to make a profit/more money
then it is now.

SSBB and Mario Galaxies will give it even more sales.

its just that no console can always have games out...they always come
out (the big games) normally in time for summer or Christmas, and it looks
like for the Wii its going to be Christmas.

not a big fan of metroid or mario. So this is looking like the gamecube all over again. Basically no good games until Nintendo decides to make another Zelda or a Mario. Wheres the 3rd-party support. the PS3 has more potential, but since it hardly has any games, it isnt worth it. the 360 has a large amount of good titles, so it is far ahead of PS3 in terms of software, but cant touch it in Hardware

what do you need all that hardware for.....its too much the 360 can handle any PS3 port and according to most developers probably run it better. We're at the point where graphics aren't going to get much better and more processing more doesn't mean sh*t to the average person who just wants to to be able to play their games....its like hiring a Muscle man to move a plastic table....unnecessary

Well no not really...seeing how most games on the Wii are 3rd party games
and this has lead to this sudden dry spot, because its taken a while for
some developers to make games that will work with the Wii-remote.

plus seeing how zelda was the first Wii game out and mario wont be out
for a while...from december 2006 to know the Wii has had a lot of good
games...but every console goes through a period were they only realies
a few good games on it.

Wii and PS3 are going through it now.
