pure int is the only way to go.

If I am not mistaking, Bloody Trap does the same amount of damage no matter what your attack power is. So even if you go hybrid you can still probably do plenty of damage to kill anyone after cursing.

im only lvl 26 but in pvp my pure int warlock/cleric dies in 1hit when fighting wizzards or rogues... only bless spell helps for the 45 seconds.. but without all i can do is stun or sleep them and try to kill them before they can use their strong skills. maybe if i was hybrid i could survive their attacks i dunno... would my dmg be that much lower if i was 2:1 int hybrid? i dont realy know how damage is calculated.. i read something about weapon dmg + mag reinforce x int or so.. but what does mag. balance do then?

Going hybrid with a euro is risky.
If you go hybrid with a Chinese character they still can use weapon skills, so.... they are "hybrid" to begin with. For a Chinese character it works great sure there nukes don't hit as hard, but there weapon skills are still plenty powerful.

As a euro you have no physical based skills, so most likely the damage loss would be worse than the HP gain.

I would say stay pure int till at least lvl 45. By then you will have more hp and hopefully better gear. You really won't know how your character will do at high level to around lvl 64.

Remember you can go hybrid at almost any level, but you can never go pure int, unless they implement that item mall only reallocation scroll.
lvl 65 4gap 84:84 bow inactive.

This will not kill the person alone. Pure Int is probably the best choice, just add STR and HP to your gear when you hit a high level it should be enough with RD + Bless Spell and Life drain.

I never said it would. I just wanted to make sure that the thread maker knew that they can do the same amount of damage with their strongest spell. Going 2:1 hybrid will result in 73% base magical balance, versus the 96% magical balance. If we take balances as damage, you lose 23% damage by going hybrid, especially since you cannot use physical skills. But you will almost double your HP, which is not bad considering warlocks can heal themselves while doing damage.

Nevertheless, you will most likely die in 1 or 2 hits from a wizard or rogue even with the extra hp. And it will still be a 1 shot from a cleric.

Then again, a warlock/cleric that can sleep their target will most likely win the fight by simply switching to cleric rod and using pure offering.

yes thats why i didnt go hybrid yet.. because i might die in 1 hit anyway..
actualy i could stun/sleep a mage before his fireball cast is rdy because these skills have a realy short casting time. same could work for rogues i guess.. the only problem is that mages and rogues get invisible on higher levels.. and as warlock/cleric i have nothing to detect them except of these potions.. but i dont even know where to get them.. and they wont work on very high lvl chars i think.. their detection lvl is lower than invsible level of the stronger invisible skills. so i guess theres nothing i can do against rogues and mages later on... i can just hope that i block their first attack or so
