The original name of wii was revolution and I think its a lot better than wii
wii sounds really gay and I read online that the CEO (or some executive guy) said that wii was supposed to mean "we" as in "we all of us" or "we the whole family"
the reason and name is lame in my opinion
they shold have kept revolution

Hmm, okay. So why is Apple named Apple? Maybe because IBM, DEC, Cincom and Tesseract sounded like the names of evil corporations at the time? Now doesn't Apple sound a lot more usable to the layperson?
Same thing with the Wii. The Wii is for everyone, not just gamers. It's short and easy to remember. People who used to call everything a Nintendo know what a Wii is.
