SOx Question
I see all the seal of sun/star/moon equipment for sale in the city and the prices are really high. I understand that these items are rare and so the price is justified, but my question is:
What makes them so great? What is the differnce that the seal gives to the weapon. For example: If I had a 4th degree level 24 dual axe and the eact same specs except with the seal of sun, what benefits would I gain?
Also is the only way to obtain the SOx by a drop or is there a way to build one?

I've always thought that sos was +5, but according to joy max, a sos weapon should have equal damage to a weapon seven levels higher. One advantage is the base stats which is higher than on normal weapons. sos has higher base stats (crit and blocking ratio) than normal weapons, som better than sos , and sosun better than som. Personally I think the sosuns are a bit overpriced (because of the glow, and cause they are rare), so I just buy som at lower levels, unless I'm farming or something. Not sure if its correct, but I'm used to think that a sos is a +5, som +10 and sosun +15. I know som to be at least +15, and sos to be +5-7, and som is something in between. Unless you have a lot of gold, you should settle for sos at the lower levels, you level up fast anyway.

Ok if you can sell it for the same price or more then you bought it for then yes its worth it.
SOS = 5 levels higher NOT +5. Yes there is a difference.
When a weapon level increases all the white stats increase as well. When you + an item only the top 2 stats increase, in this case phys, and mag attack.
So a +5 weapon can have the same top 2 stats as a sos weapon, but physical and magical reinforce are part of the damage calculation as well. They will be most likely lower on the +5 making the sos more powerful.
So the short answer is sos= to +7 or 5 levels higher weapon.
Also seal items can have higher criticals and BR.
sos=5 LEVELS
SOM=10LEVELS
SOSUN=15LEVELS
They can only be obtained by a drop.

so does a lvl 24 sos blade have the same stats as a lvl 29 blade? cause a lvl 29 blades cost alot less (like twice less) than a lvl 24 sos.

Im not 100% on this but,
I think they cost some much because of the stat increases, i think that if you where lets say level 25, you could only use a weapon as strong as a level 25(with level 25 stats). but if you a had a level 25 SoSun(with level 40 stat) you could have the equivalent of a level 40 weapon, beacaue it would be a level 25 weapon so you can use it, but its stats would be the same as a level 40.
Also the shinyness, that adds to the price because people WILL PAY to look cool

thats it
Yep
The reason SOX are so expensive is because...
The seal adds +5/10/15, IE. a +3 sos is like a +8 normal piece, and getting an sos +3 is MUCH easier then getting a +9
SOX can get more dmg then normal gear, and its easier to get powerful

UM YEAH BUT, can you use the cheaper lvl 29 wepaon when you are lvl 24? No. these weapons are very useful for farming sp. You can 1 hit monsters and get sp fast. They are worth the money if you use them right. Especially if you don’t level out of them in a week. So yes they are worth the price if youre farming or its your cap weapon. They ar absolutly worth it. Plus theyre pretty.
