You sure about that?
I was mid 16's when I ran. I did sub 5's as a sophmore. You could probably destroy me now if your still active, as I am not as much into running. And after 10 miles, I fall apart, all short-twitch muscle, so you would win even when I was my best. Lol, what am I kidding me. This is the internet, you can't carry on a conversation, its only about bragging how you almost died, supposedly.
^Thanks 0l3n! Gone. Never really gone, but never really here. "If Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we’d all be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music"

That's great that you get exercise. My cousin is about 5'7 100 lbs and I always tell him to work out or exercise in some way but he never does. I fear he will develop osteoporosis.
Sorry to say buddy, Don't get to excited for a 5 min run. Almost everyone in our varsity team does that. I run a 4:47 mile. So I chalenge you bish!
@ I got 15:31 on my 5K run last weekend

Ive always wondered-does being vegetarian bring benefits? Personally, excluding religion, it seems that theres no real reason to be a vegetarian. Why do people turn vegetarian?

i'm an atheist so obviously i dont do it for religious reasons. i'm a vegetarian because i don't support the slaughter of animals, it's healthier, and it makes your...uh...'sexual fluids' taste better

*cough* bs.. Meat gives you a lot of good vitamins etc.. only real reason to do it is because you are against the way animals are slaughtered or just against the slaughtering in the first place

Oh. Yeah, theres that "animal cruelty" reason too.
Im not flaming on you or anything, but personally, it really is a foolish reason not to eat meat because of that. We humans have killed/driven to extinction/exploited thousands of species up till now. Simply because one human being stops eating meat wont make a difference whether others do, nor stop the killing of animals which will never end.
Meat has a lot of things that the body needs-most importantly protein.
And about the "sexual fluids", Ive heard about it too, but its just an old wives tale.

Was looking for that word (protein) lols ..
Anyways you're right. Though no one thinks about the plants we eat.. They are alive as well.. Just because they don't move doesn't mean they don't live..
to everyone their own. i'm not going to argue with you guys about my belief. I do however recommend you take a look at this and this. they prove your arguments false.

plants aren't comparable to animals. animals have a brain. they feel pain.

And you're to say plants don't? You can't tell if a plant feels anything.. It's living that's final..

I'm a vegetarian coz I've never really liked the taste of meat.. I would never touch red meat, only white.. So I decided to become a veggie.. At first I missed eating chicken. But I've been a veggie for well over 14years now and don't even remember what it tastes like..
Yeah their is alot of goodness from eating meat that our body needs, but there are other ways of taking vitamins, iron and protein that we would normally get from eating meat..
