two questions...First does this change the attributes of the weapon. Like does it really make it +9, or does it just give it the color of a +9. Ok second question....how can I change my +1 Glaive (LVL 18 ) to a Plus nine glaive. I have been trying for two nights now and I still can get it to work. Thanks in advance. ^_^

Can't have a black glow cause it just makes the wep glowless. But technically it should be 0.000,0.000,0.000.

And to answer Yazo0 ... possibly there would be a way to edit 1 into a 9 ... but that would take much more editing than a normal 3-9. But seeing as most are just starting to master this .. I'll not make a guide for a bit.

I'm having alot of trouble getting in to look t an edit i did. So will some Pls try this 0.001,0.001,0.001 Cause i want to find a way to make it black. I'm thinking it will make the glow just really dim, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, but as far as I know you can't put Chinese stuff onto a European and vice versa. But yeah in theory glows / sox glow should work.

Also: Anyone have a permanent upload site? Possibly their own server. Only need like 50 kb's

it might be a bit late, but ive got a really noobish question (im not into editing stuff normally but i would love to give it a go). I've got a lvl 1 character with a +0 weapon, is it possible to change the +0 into a glow ? (scanned all the comments, but didn't see anything about the +0 thingie).

hey, nice guide,
but there are some pts i am not quite sure how to do,

firstly rite, does the glow of a weapon represent its power? that means rite, if u just change the colour of the glow of ur weapon, will it become
stronger or will it still stay the same, just that the appearence changes?

secondly, does "itemoption.exe" provide infomation on your weapons only or all the weapons in general? same thing goes for "itemtypenumber.txt", does it tell about ur items onli or all the items in the game?

The glow represents the + on an item.

+0/1/2 = No glow.
+3/4 = White/Transparent glow.
+5/6 = Purple-ish glow.
+7/8 = Golden/Red glow.
+9 and above = LightBlue/Green/Turquoise glow.

And as for anything to do with pk2, only the appearance for YOU will change.

As for the text files .. they are for all weapons in general.

i tried to but im kinda stucked with the X and Y part, i have a +3 shield SOS (i maded it SOSun already YAYEAH!) a +3 shield would be: X - 1 and Y - 3 so i did: find 31 20 09 33 and: no string found (did do everthing what you did it wont find the string! HELP! :banghead:

Hmm what color are you going for, and could I ask for the degree of your shield ?
