Let's get started this is a battle between Runescape and Silkroad (sro ftw)
The main question of this battle is: Y tf is SRo beTTaH ten RS ????
YOu can post your ideaz Y Rs or SRo is beTTaH .....

SRO FTW:
The graphics! (wow, didn't saw that before....)
The Stall option!
The better graphics...
No 'loading please wait' but still lagg some time..
easy cheating (only putting it here cuz some ppl like this (tah n00bz))

RS FTW:
Scam protection
Unable to cheat/hack anti-bot system

Please post reasons Y RS or SRo is beTTaH!!!

SRO is best free MMORPG in world,no game is perfect (exept P2P ones),sro got major problem when come to bots,lags,etc,but in end we all know SRO has really fun gameplay and amazing graphic and its very sexy game,so **** all whiners:OMG LAG,OMG SCAMMED,OMG BOTS.Live with it,JoyMax made beatifull game.I know JoyMax staff is dam lame when come to keeping sro clean,but what can we do,eh?

.About Runescape lol i never played it,heard it nothing special. :twisted:

I dont really like sro.. Just love the community in some ways. Thats the reason MMORPG's are so addictive imo.

Runescape was the best game till i found silkroad LOL
After a week playing SRO, i sold my runescape acc:P
But it was a great game,

I prefer SRO.

Oh btw.:
Jagex is not a lazy company like sro.
They update game every weeks with new quests etc.
They are having a good system , forum mods,JMs, and player mods.
Player mods are banning offensive speakers,adversiters,bots.

I believe the only problem on Silkroad is that it is too easy to cheat in the game. It is the thing that leads to most of the other problems.

Bugs don't really bug me (sorry for the pun).
Graphics are great, at the level of some of the best MMORPGs, even P2P.
Character development is interesting.

Eliminating cheats you would eliminate many problems (such as server traffic, unstable markets and inflation, unbalanced gameplay, etc.)

runescape is better because:

1.) The quests are the most imdepth I've seen in any mmo, and can somtimes take hours and days of puzzles and fun to complete.

2.) Account security, its almost impossible to LOSE an account, and if you get hacked, you can change your questions/password easily.

3.) Costumer service, they have official forums, moderated by the creators themselves, asking for imput, suggestions, and help.

4.) They crack down HARD on cheaters, botters, and scammers, giving 3 day ban, 1 week ban, then perma ban, I was perm banned, then a few years later, I send in a request telling them how much I changed over the years and they actualy unbanned my account on a last chance basis.

5.) They have a variety of items/weapons/armor, bank space, and rare (discontinued) items that you can buy/sell/work for

6.) They have MULTIPLE skills that you can train, not just combat, such as: Prayer, Magic, Cooking, woodcutting, Fletching, Fishing, Firemaking, Crafting, Smithing, Mining, Herblore, Agility, Thieving, Slayer, Farming, Runecraft, Hunter, Construction, as well as the basic Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, and Ranged, for combat.

7.) They have highscores, ranking up to 1 million, to strive past the 99 level cap in each skill, to be the best player.

8.) When the server goes down, its usualy for 2-15 minutes.

SRO sucks in comparison because:

1.) The quests are the most boring things ever, kill this, collect that, take this to jangan, and come back.

2.) Account security, more often than not, if you get hacked, you get farked.

3.) Customer service, joymax dosnt listen to anything its players say, they care only for money, and population (botters).

4.) They dont do shit to botters/cheaters/scammers, as long as people buy silk, they are happy.

5.) All you can train is combat combat combat, endless hours of grinding and grinding, competeing with bots against level spots.

6.) When the server goes down, its for 3-8 hours.

i've really enjoyed RS, i really liked the skill system (as mentioned before, not only combat) however you havn't got a guild system, or a stall system, or a multiple chat system or something

my experience is that RS players are a bit more ''relaxed" in comparison to sro players....everyone is chatting when fishing etcetera, people are taking grinding to serious with sro

they actualy implimented a "clan chat" where you type in the leader of the clan's name in the clan box, and you can all talk in your clan chat, another bonus of RS over SRO, is you have IGNORE OPTION, you can switch chat to: Hide (you see text on the screen but not on the text box, helps alot when merchanting (diffrent then SRO, and it works better imo)), Friends (only see what your friends say on screen and in the chat box), Off (you see nothing) and On (you see everything on screen and in the chat box) they also have the same options with private messages, etc.

imo. all the people bitching about runescape are graphics whores who play a game for the looks and not the content, step off till you've played it, noobs.
