cleric at lv lvl 80 undefeatable and killing anyone?
since clerics can heal themselvs and use pure offering, im wondering, if they can kill anybody at lvl 80. today a cleric did about 26k dam on me (my mag def is 1460 and parry ratio 377 buffed). even if u use a shield, which blocks that attack, the cleric could go on healing himself and just wait for the cool down of pure offering to end and then attack again. what do you guys think?

Not really, what character were u using to fight?
If the Pure Offering doesn't kill you (ie. you got enough HP "IF you have enough" OR you blocked it with shield / interrupted him with kb/kd/stun etc) then he might be dead unless he has another subclass to fight with.
The Offering skill has big cooldown after use - around 45secs +
therefore it's impossible for him to do it again unless you let him run around like a silly chicken for 1min.
The fact that Offering takes so long to cast makes it easy for people to kill him like a sitting duck. Wizards imo are more scary when it comes to damages since they can invisible -> nuke without you seeing it coming...

Depends...clerics with full blues = about 6k+ hp at lvl 80?
With light armor, the passive adds like...50-70 more p.def (not sure), and body blessing (the 2nd version) adds like 136 more p.def. That is already like ~200 more p.def than any pure int.
If their offering fails, that would be the best time to KO them, since they'll only have like 300hp left. But if they use bless spell AND recovery division, good luck I guess. If like gongjaied says, the cooldown for offering is ~45 secs, they can just wait it out with Bless Spell (45 secs duration) and cast offering again right at the end. If you survive both offerings (gay BR shield) then you have a 100% shot at KO-ing them. (unless they run away first

im a cleric, the offering skill has a 1 min cool down, it doesn't seems long when you are party play, but it feels dam long when you are pvping.
apart from the cooldown, it also has a long casting time as well, a good long 3 sec to cast.
so u cast offering, waiting waiting waiting......boom!!!!
with in that 3 sec, taking a small hit from anyone is enough to reduce the cleric's HP less than 95%, and it will cancel the skill. is not the first time happen to me. even i nuker can cast a nuke to the cleric within that 3 sec. so use it wisely

Hmm I got a cleric with warlock sub. I still have a long way to go but when I get to higher lvls my plan is this:
As a warlock I have stun and sleep skills at my disposal. Stun should last for 3 secs and sleep lasts a lot longer. That should give me plenty of time to use offering. I could also use warlock debuffs but are they even necessary? If the offering fails I can put up a fight as a warlock.
Not sure if this will work but I'm really looking forward to try it

Well im one of the highist clerics i seen and i die just as easy, Without bless spell its very hard to tank, 2 k damage + from 75+. Im able to beat 74+ without emo nuke with Bless Spell. But for the healing all the time, its like saying chinese cant be beaten becaues they spam pots, its not any diffrent, all clerics are is a auto pot on legs as I call my self lol

Who cares about clerics in pvp? They do excellent in wars... [*cough* dyna *cough*]
Just buff up the others around you... they really can't ignore them to go kill you, especially if you pull up a bless spell. In the time they might not pay attention or get stunned, or get hurt too much and run, BAM, offering and a quick split second heal, if you don't have division and healing cycle on anyways. That, and it helps that the cleric went bard for the insane speed.

Warlock/Cleric or Wizard/Cleric = death....simply because you can cast spells that sleep for 20 seconds, or prevent attack for 10 seconds. Both cases, plenty of time to switch and cast Offering.
And I recently used offering while in PvP. Sure, the opponent was someone lower level, but I did not even use bless spell. What I did was try offering, the enemy (Blader) started the chains, but I was healing all the time with divisiona and cycle, so I never died. Then when the 1 minute was up, I moved away, gained a some distance and used offering. The Blader could not attack fast enough, so I finished the casting before his attack registered and he died. So you can probably get a few chances with offering especially when you use bless spell and remember to use healing cycle before you cast offering. If you do not use healing cycle, you better be damn confidant your opponent cannot block.

The only thing can stop offering is a shield ..
pure offering should kill lvl 80 glavier with 21 k HP as it do more damge ... so if you are cleric and want to use that against a shield user make sure you have recovery division and healing cycle before doing it .. and after doing you can eaily use any heal skill and you will be fully HP again easily .. you can use bless spell too ..
you may use BIND to stop people attacking you before and after casting it will give you enough time to be +95% HP and time to recover before they attack you ..
Try to be cleric/wizard and go invisible then switch and cast .. your sudden appear will give you enough 3 sec to cast or try to KB / freeze him before switch and cast ..
Try to be cleric/warlock and you easily stop people before casting ... and you can also de-buff his attack before casting ..
You should fear only warrior/crossbow .. if his shield blocked your offering he will switch to crossbow and easily 1 hit you (even if your HP is full) .. he can also snipe you before being in the range to attack him if he have his crossbow in hand and extreme bow in use ..

yep wizard is scarier
and if they know how to use the fire trap thats like 1 nuke
plus the next nuke then teleport and nuke ^^

You will notice that no cleric will use bind on you if they ever PvP. You will also notice that very few Wizards will use any skills besides fire bolt, ice bolt and fire blow at higher levels. That is because if a wizard is higher than 60, they probably didn't gap enough to have their skills, so they are just PvPing the dumb way, nuke and hope it kills the enemy. Once you get some 72+ farmed Euros wizards/warlocks/clerics, it is pretty much over for you. They can stop you 3 different ways and kill you 5 different ways.....maybe not the clerics, but the 4 non buffer classes can do it.
