Your harddrive crashed. Remove the Master. Make the slave Master and the one that was Master = Dead.

Check the cable, make sure it's in all the way.

Probably the HD cable is poorly connected, open your case and tighten it. On the worse case your HD got fried... I had one HD fried because it was poorly connected (and kept turning on/off several times in a second, which let to it frying).

LOL, your motherboard is not detecting the primary drive thus it cannot boot.

You have to select the primary drive in the BIOS and make sure the drive you selected as Primary Drive is where the OS is installed in.

That's all you gotta do. I guess you must have added a second drive or if not, you messed up your BIOS.

As some have mentioned above, it is probably just a loose data cable connecting the hard drive to the motherboard.

Make sure the computer is turned off, open the case, pull the data cable out of the hard drive and motherboard and plug it back in both ends. Make sure it's in tight. Then turn the computer back on and it should be fine.

I was also going to suggest checking the jumpers on the hard drives themselves. If you don't know about jumpers, they are tiny caps that go over pins on the back of the drive. They should be labeled "MA" and "SL" and "CS" or similar. You mentioned you have 2 hard drives. The drive with Windows installed on it should be set to "MA" and the other set to "SL".

Since I think you said that the computer does boot up sometimes (you said in a post you were ON that computer), the jumpers are likely not the problem. It's just something else to check.
