Full str farming @ stronghold

Hi folks, a friend of mine is going to farm @ stronghold

his question:
can i 1 hit mobs with a sos+7 bow (full str)

i think he won't, but maybe has got experience in this?

no, if u have only that bow and without imbue......

Make sure u have 100% int and str on your gears, all of your gears..... that will kick that Bandit Archer Badly....

or you should have +11 Sosun Bow?

if your friend has a sos+7 bow, tell him to do the following...
- get to lvl 20, tell him to keep his masteries at 7 still (in order to keep the 9 gap). once he is lvl 20, delvl till 16 (must still have 9 gap). If u wonder why i say get to lvl 20, i say it because once he delvls to 16 and starts to farm, he will have the strength of a lvl 20 but at lvl 16, therefore he will farm faster.

- make sure your friend has atleast +12 STR total from all his gear.

- with all that you should 1 hit them.

no, you dont need to, he can get it if he wants but the gear will be more expensive

even with sos+7 (29 bow) you can't kill lvl 11 monsters in 1 hit !!!!!!
that's a shit .. and if it true I would say all ppl who farm in stronghold is noob enough .... and may be stupied too ..

why you don't wait till you have your strongest skill and 1 hit monsters with +3 bow ?

You will say the spawn rate .. I know this old sentence .. but the fact now is bandit archers haven't best spawn rate , haven't less players on them , haven't best drop rate , haven't a decent lvl to stay in ..

I say that after playing in all euro monsters areas .. and I can say that Most of euro monsters have better spawan rate .. less players on hem , better drop rate ...

I will tell you an example about lvl 27-28 euro soilders :
- better spawn rate even wizard lvl 33 with 30 mastery can't find any moment to collect anything ...
- there are a very big area of the map have only this tow monsters that mean easy to find a big empty area to farm .. I farmed on them for a week and didn't meet any ppl but 3 !!!!!!!!!!!
- They are too slow ... really slow .. even if you hit them 3~4 hits before they die they will not touch you !!! and they have non ranged attack means that it's easier to farm there withh normal gear ...
- and about the drops .. every monster drop alchemy item that mean great number of elements ..
- they have better lvl .. you can farm there when you are about 32 to have new degree 5 weapon .. if you have 9 gap your mastery will be 23 .. off course mastey 23 is better than mastery 7 with great lvs .. !!! remember that ..

Now tell me a reason to farm in stronghold ...

I think the least you need is som+5 with full str and int on your gear.

if u do it my way, u are garenteed to hit them in 1-2 hits , 3 hits without imbue

hmmm i did 1hit kill with the anti arrow on the bandit archers with sos+3, there werent any blue on the bow or my gear, just npc items, and i killed them in 1 hit with level 2 anti /w level2 fire imbue (lvl7mastery/9gaps/level16), but sometimes it doesnt if the bandit archer ran, the thing is i was doing a 80:80 build, which i put about 1/3 of the stats point i gained from 1-16 into int, so i think if u get all your gears with +int you'll probably be able to bang them easy, but the sux thing about farming at bandit archer is the spawn rate, especially many people are farming there too..

u cant one hit with plain npc bow, u can one hit with a +4 or 5 npc bow tho

i am farming in stronghold with +5 SOS bow level 16.
i am using 2 attacks:
1. arrow combo level 1+fire imbue level
2. Anti-devil level 2

I kill bandit with the first attack in 2 shots and if i manage to strike anti-devil with fire imbue still active i make second kill with only one shot. You gotta have quick fingers though : )

Im full str (leveled up to 18 ), i have no +str/int on my gear, i am making 900+ sp/hour (monkey+silver+gold ticket+exp distr. party)

i had a som+5..still couldnt 1 hit it unless i did an antidevil

tell your friend to max blue all his equip with int...it should help

Im full INT with SOM +5 bow.. I can 1 hit bandit [lvl 16] with antidevil and 2 hit with combos.. u can do tis by de lvl ur char from lvl 27 back to lvl lvl 16.. extra stat points do help alot.. full STR with same weapon u can do it but u need to delvl from lvl 30+ i tink.. IMO

maybe you're right about this, maybe you don't

have you ever farmed @ stronghold? you almost have never time to pick up your items the point on farming there is the deleveling, it takes ALOT of time

Yes I farmed at bandit den a lot before but I get bored ...

It was 80:80 charecter .. my balance was 75:76 with + 23% mag +23 % phy lvl 16+1 normal bow gap 7 ( mastery 9 ) to 1 hit bandit archer with anti devil , 2 hits with combo ..

After a while they make the euro update and I started new rogue charecter ... and my friend have a drop of SOM 16 bow

I gave him the charecter and made the bow +2 .. he is real noob and don't know what to do .. and he also he get bored and started another charecter ..

Farming in low lvls so boring ...
I think about farming at lvl 32 on euro lvl 28 or 42 in euro lvl 38
Or for my 1:1 light glavier I can farm in 52 in penons .. that's right it will take longer but I can multi kill monsters at the same time other glavier kill 1 monster ..

Farming in lvl 80 may be good too a lot of people say that ..

if you had two computers you can have your farmer grinding and a cleric sitting up at the top part, buff yourself the added int/str and bless, and when you need to delvl you can delvl yourself and not pesture someone else. just a thought.
