After reading that new joymax site post, I've clicked around there and found this new game they're working on.

Coming out in Oct

The International and Thai versions saw some players using their own version of the "hack and slash" with the introduction of hacks to annoy regular players ("hack the game and slash the fair players"). Since GMs were absent on the International version, it soon became out of control and eventually led to its closure. In the case of the Thai version, it closed few weeks after some hacks made their way to the game. Nevertheless, a new version of the former International server is scheduled to open on October and should be known as Darkeden Global.

They AREN'T! In case you don't know about all the problems with SRO. They can make the game fine, they just don't maintain it as well as they should.

Also, if snudge and satman had a son somehow, he'd type all his posts like this.

hey hey hey dont hate on darkeden it was NOT made by jm......it was made by a company that update about 1ce per 3months......it was a fun as heck game tho...trust me....but there were more hackers in there then there are bots in sro......it was still awesome tho give it a shot
P.s in that game bladers are teh hard core shitz that can kill!!! =p

hows the grind, and PvP (website was vague)

ok.......the grind......much less tedious than silkroad imho, you have a choice of two races (ill get more in depth for pvp) a vampire or a slayer a vampire has general lvls and ranks and their skills are focused on manipulating blood,acid,and dead souls(and of course the occasionall meteor) now as for slayer.....they dont lvl conventionally instead their class gains lvls, the classes are... enchanter(buffer with some pimp skills) healer(cleric) blader(my personal fav slayer tankish but has some insane damage) sword(my least favorite not sure what they specialize in but they use lightning stuffs alot) and last but not least....gunner(self explanitory...uses guns)

pvp is a real gem here imo because there are no capes or anything its basically this.... if ur a vampire feel free to kill any slayer anywhere at any lvl as long as thier not in a safe zone and vice versa..if you need anymore jsut post here ill tell you

p.s max lvl is 100

oh i found out the blader is the main damage dealer for melle in a party and sword is the tank........in this game there are also "ranks" so that u can tell how good someone is cuz vamps cant talk to slayers and vice versa they are gained from grinding but i tihnk also from pvp (my mind is hazy cuz its been down about a year) want me to post pics of the ranks?

also...there were rumors of a new race called the outsters coming out......and some asian versions have em.jm might put em in i dunno

my slayer was a blue serent and my vamp was a green reichsritter

One thing that sucks imo is that you can't train in peace. If you're a slayer, there are lvl 100 vampires camping outside town, spamming meteor. If you're a vamp, there are slayers camping in the underground dungeon (thats why lvl 1+ trains).

I don't see a point in playing a game where you get pwned by high lvls everywhere you go (especially if you meet a party of the other race in some far away dungeon...only to get pwned and sent back to town. -_-;
